Hotel a Mount Lorne

“The property is well equiped and clean for a stay in the woods. Access is pretty simple to the Inn and surrounding areas. A great homebase for exploring many areas in the southern lakes region. Would stay again for sure.”

“The staff were really helpful and kind. They let us access our room three hours in advanced since it was already cleaned which was appreciated with all of our backpacks we had to carry. The hotel is a bit on the older side, so is the linen and rooms but its one of the cheapest hotels in Whitehorse so id say its fairly priced. Linens had hole and some stains but they all smelled clean and were clearly freshly washed so we Didnt mind. But again we took the cheapest room so we arent complaining....

“The hotel was nice. Large specious rooms. Great location plenty of places to eat and shop at. The Town does seem to close up early. Shops close at 6pm. Restaurants seemed open later. Few down side is parking is limited and there is no elevator so you need carry your suit cases up and down stairs. Not a big deal if you have small ones but if it's big then have fun with that.”

“Hotel is still new, so carpets are fresh and no major wear and tear that most hotels show. Beautifully decorated! Nice layout. Breakfast was good but over priced. Service was slow and they always used the excuse “I was busy”. Hmm. They have a few kinks to work out but otherwise very good. Stayed 7 nights. Parking was $15/day - so budget for that before you go. On street parking is metered and one hr at a time.”

“We rent this room through Expedia. On the reservation it is clearly stated that we were 4 adults one kid. On arrival arount 11pm there was no sheet or blankets for the sofa bed. Only 3 of each : glass, mugs, plates WE HAD TO REQUEST ALL THAT before going to bed. The staff was very nice and helped us but there is no communication between the hotel and EXPEDIA Be careful”

“I stayed here for 5 nights on a recent trip to Whitehorse. I chose this hotel for the location and it was great as so much stuff was within walking distance. Many restaurants, the river front, the McBride Museum all within 1 or 2 minute walk. My room was very clean and comfortable, only thing was the bathroom was a bit crowded, but that's a minor issue. Bed was comfortable, AC worked, TV was good. Had a fridge and a microwave which was nice. Not super upscale, but good location and I would...

“I like the downtown location of the property. Convenient. Parking is a block away. I appreciated having an onsite restaurant. I was disappointed to learn there was no complimentary breakfast.”
