I hardly ever leave a bad review, but I was so disappointed in this hotel. We weren’t made aware that they were under construction, or that the continental breakfast would not be available. There was dust and equipment everywhere, even the hallways were dirty. When we got to our room, there were gummy bears and empty Capri Suns on the floor of our room, dirt in the sink, and hair in the tub. There was no sheet on the pull-out sofa bed, or pillows and blankets for it. The water for the shower never got warm. If we were planning to stay in a cheap motel, I would expect this. But not at here. The front desk was understaffed and the women there were trying their best to handle the massive influx of guests in town for various events, but were obviously not getting help from management. I won’t be going back to this hotel. If there’s construction or a change to available amenities, that should be communicated with guests before they arrive. Do better!

"There are some things that can improve with some tender, loving care and spending the money to make it better. There are other things you simply pull the plug on, and this Holiday Inn has seen its better days. It's an old building with old plumbing, old furnishings, and old beds. Even the TV was ..."
