“Very friendly, helpful, free parking and snacks in the room. Our original room was a little loud as deliveries were being made in the morning and they switched our room immediately. Also have items for the beach (umbrellas, chairs, etc.). Would definite go back ! Restaurant was excellent as well as was the location.”

“They are remodeling with the rooms rented out. A truck started beeping at 3:00 am and stoped at 4:00. The workers and trucks showed up at 7:00. We didn’t sleep all night. Even had buckets of silicone on our front steps. No effort was made not to disturb us. Our room should have been left vacant that night. I feel like they stole my money……”

“We came back to this place after 20 years, and little had changed since the first time. Top location (just a short walk to the Windanssea beach at La Jolla and a short drive from the shop and restaurants of the charming La Jolla Village), very helpful staff, adequate services for people on the road (automatic washing machine to start with). The room was big and quiet. The beds and furniture could use some renovation though, but overall still a great place to stay during your San Diego stay.”

Easy access to pool and hot tub. Easy access to both car and the cove. You will avoid the many stairs situation if you get a parking pass prior to unpacking-avoid the temptation of free parking unless you don’t mind a steep walk with your luggage. Will come back, it was more fun than we thought it would be! ”

“Really good Hotel. Large rooms, with views over the beach and sea. Location is excellent and amenities good. Staff were very helpful and the piece that moves this Hotel to another level is the extra little things……such as free cycles, beach equipment and speaking events put on for hotel residents.
