“We stayed for three nights and ate breakfast and dinner in-house every day. We all enjoyed the food, except one particularly dish at dinner. The staff were freindly and very helpful. Rooms were clean with spectacular views. Communal areas had character and were very nice. We would like to return for another stay sometime in the future.”

“si tratta di un albergo sporco nelle parti comuni con i giardini assolutamente incolti. nelle stanze c'era tappezzeria vinilica di dubbio gusto non confacente con lo stile dell'albergo. le porte delle parti comuni erano tutte usurate dal passaggio dei carrelli la vernice era consumata e si vedeva il legno. abbiamo pagato e siamo scappati via senza neanche soggiornarvi.”

“Handy for Rothsey, and a lovely old building. My room was facing the harbour and an interesting view. Tired in places, chair was very wobbly, and doors etc as you would expect in a property of this age. However, the retro-fitted en-suite was good, and nice and clean. Felt like carpet had not been hovered. The Scottish breakfast was nice and not too overwhelming. Just right. The guys running the place were really friendly and polite.”

“We were marooned in the Kames Hotel when excessive rain, flooding and landslides closed all the roads out. We could not manage to get to the wedding we had come to attend (neither could the celebrant, hairdresser, makeup artiste..) but we sat in all our finery with glass in hand beside a roaring log fire in the guest sitting room and thoroughly enjoyed the Google Meet wedding of the year ! “This place is like one out of a fairytale. Most spacious! The property owner cooked amazing l meals and brought them to the room herself! They are wonderful people to meet! “This flat was in a good location with fab views. Everything we needed was there and more. The log burners were so cosy after a day touring the island. Wifi, tv, beds all perfect. Communication with host good and access to the flat straightforward. I would 100% reccomend this lovely spacious flat and will hopefully return.”
