“This is a great property from a stay and enjoy the place option, to a jumping off point to see Nova Scotia.The house is very comfortable and the hosts go above and beyond to make your stay is all that you hoped for. The place is well stocked, including snacks, coffee and condiments. The beds are comfortable. and the setting is wonderful. Halifax is nearby. Highways to take you anywhere are only minutes away.I have had many VRBO experiences and I have never dealt with a better host.”

“Good location for all we were doing. Nice cottage that was clean and older but maintained nicely. Good instructions on getting in the house. Kitchen nicely supplied but needed pitchers for making drinks like tea or a pitcher of water. We bought two of these and left them. Beds were comfortable and we just used the two upstairs bedrooms. Carpet in lower bedroom needs to be replaced as it had lots of stains. TV and sofa upstairs in the bedroom were where we hung out the most. Played some board...

The only issue we found (because we went to curl up and read books together!) was that the lighting in the main space was not great: a couple of floor lamps would have been great. ”
