Quando entri nell'ingresso privato recintato di The Cottage On Ingham Pond e scendi attraverso i nostri campi, rimarrai sbalordito dalla vista più pittoresca nella zona dei laghi di Belgrado. Uno spettacolo così bello che è stato descritto due volte nella rivista Down East.
Situato a 10 piedi dalla riva del fiume incontaminato di Ingham, The Cottage On Ingham Pond offre un facile accesso in barca a Long Pond e al Belgrade Lakes Village. Un paradiso per i kayak !! Il paradiso dei boarder paddle !! Il paradiso dei pescatori !! Abbiamo molto da offrire. Confortevole, accogliente, tranquillo, privato, luminoso e allegro con tutti i comfort che meglio descrive The Cottage On Ingham Pond. L'esposizione occidentale offre meravigliosi tramonti sull'acqua.
Arredato con gusto per dormire 8 con una camera da letto matrimoniale al primo piano. Il secondo piano ha 2 camere da letto. Una camera ha un letto full size situato direttamente sotto un grande lucernario in modo da poter godere delle notti stellate. L'altra camera offre un letto full size e letti a castello.
Ampio bagno al primo piano con doccia. Un privato esterno è anche in atto se lo si desidera. L'open space con ampie finestre comprende la cucina, la zona pranzo e la camera familiare con TV a schermo piatto Direct. Il WIFI è attivo e può essere utilizzato mentre si è seduti sulle sedie Adirondack sul grande molo a forma di T o in una delle amache.
Abbiamo un pozzo scavato in profondità che fornisce la migliore acqua potabile fredda che tu abbia mai bevuto. Non è necessario acquistare acqua in bottiglia. Lenzuola e asciugamani sono forniti con lavatrice e asciugatrice per uso personale.
C'è una veranda coperta coperta e una grande veranda protetta. Il portico schermato ha un tavolo con sedie e sedie a dondolo in modo che possiate godervi le serate all'aperto senza bug ascoltando i lunatici e i gufi. Lo stagno di Ingham è una zona di pesca apprezzata per il suo luccio, la spigola grande e piccola e il crappie nero. Il disco Black Crappie per lo stato del Maine è stato catturato a Ingham Pond nel 2013!
Non è consentito fumare all'interno di nessuno dei nostri edifici. Eventuali mozziconi devono essere smaltiti nel camino esterno. Oltre al camino esterno e legnaia c'è una griglia a carbone per barbecue.

Summer Fun and Tranquility

Cottage was quaint but with everything one would need for a fun and relaxing week…watercraft, grill, dock for fishing or sitting, comfortable beds, and an air conditioner for the humid days and nights. A loon pair and chick, bald eagle, osprey, heron, and multiple hummingbirds were a treat! Will look to be back next summer!!

Gorgeous sunsets. Loons with babies were very entertaining. Good fishing. Shout out to Scapes and H.J.Blakes. Basically you have the pond all to yourself.Cabin has all the things that you need.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! It was incredibly private. The outside property was wonderful. Enjoyed walking out on the dock and watching the sun set on the pond.Dock is huge.The cottage is absolutely perfect.Seeing deer every morning on the other side of a pond is a common and natural occurrence.loons was close all day but quiet.The road leading to the cottage traverses a hilltop, offering a breathtaking vista of the entire lake and distant mountains.Roger! "Fantastic host" and very attentive. Thank you, Roger and Elaine!We look forward to returning next year.

Fabulous

My husband and I stayed at the beautiful Cottage on Ingham Pond. This was our first time using VRBO and frankly did not know what to expect. The Cottage, in my opinion is a home, has every possible amenity you would have in your own home. That includes a washer and dryer. Extremely comfortable and entirely pristine both in and out. Basically, all we needed to bring was clothes and food. The area is very, very private and peaceful. Wonderful for leaving the hustle and bustle of hectic work and school schedules. Delightful for all ages. Games, puzzles and movies for all ages and a surround sound stereo for some quiet listening. Or some 60's rock? Canoes and Kayaks are there for use. We bought our life preservers, but Roger and Elaine had that covered with a bin full of them. We watched glorious sunsets from both dock and deck. 2 pair of Loons always making themselves known with their hoots and yodels. If you like to fish there are different types for all anglers. While I was catching Pickeral, others were catching Trout and Bass. A hidden Gem for sure. We are in the process of rebooking.

Right on the water, amazing views, and loads of privacy

My wife and I make a trip up to Maine every fall and I can state this property was one of the nicest we've ever stayed at. First the view: The cottage has an amazing view of the lake, sitting at the kitchen table there is a huge window and it feels like you are right on the water. The road that goes down to the cottage goes over a hill that has an absolutely stunning view of the entire lake and the mountains in the distance. The privacy at the cottage was great. The road the cottage was off of was a private road with a gate at the top which meant there was no traffic on the road near us, we couldn't hear any traffic from any other roads as well. It looked like there were only three or four camps on this section of the pond and they were all spaced very very far apart which meant we had complete privacy at the camp. The cottage itself was very comfortable, and cozy, but with a very nice and updated feeling kitchen which was great for cooking in. The stove / oven were on the smaller side but the sink, fridge, and dishwasher were all wonderful. Plus there was a crock pot and an electric roasting pan available so the stove being on the smaller side didn't hinder us at all. We stayed here in October and it was getting a bit chilly but we were able to fire up the wood stove and were able to stay nice and toasty from just that, the cottage seemed insulated enough that we didn't need to turn the actual heat on. Overall we had a great time and I would highly recommend it.

Perfect family getaway

The house was perfectly sized for my family of four plus some cousins to come and go. We brought our dog who had the time of his life. I couldn’t tell from the pictures how close the house is to the water. It’s right out the back door. We had 4 boats to head out into the lake any time. There are only 4 houses on the pond so it was incredibly private. We had 2 special needs cousins come visit and it was great to just put on life vests and let them play. We didn’t have to worry about anyone hearing our kids. It was fantastic. The stream to Long pond was about a 2 mile each way kayak. The wildlife were beautiful. I am a birder and the birds were great. We could sleep with the windows open to get a cross breeze. Again, the privacy was amazing. One of the kids’ favorite vacation. Thank you, Roger and Elaine!

Fantastic Maine Cottage for a Family Stay

Ingham Pond is truly a magical location. The cottage is just as described with everything you need in tip-top shape. Kitchen is one of the best equipped we've seen in a similar property. There is a great grill to use and you are right on this quiet pond where the loudest noise you are likely to hear are the Loons calling. Roger is a great host and he is nearby if you need anything. Would definitely plan to return and have already recommended it to friends.

A Pocket of Sunshine even when it Rains

Hummm. This amazing jewel will find a place inside you that will never go away, so you won't forget it. Just so I don't forget it, I plan on going back when there is availability. Elaine & Roger Karabin are top notch down to earth hosts who are committed to making your stay relaxing and fun. They know the area well and are eager to help find what you need. Truly, this place is a gem!

We had a beautiful, relaxing stay at this little slice of heaven. The views are beautiful, cottage is fully equipped with everything you need and more. We brought our boat and went fishing, a lot. Caught lots of fish! Trail walking, rock skipping, kayaking, swimming, we enjoyed all this property has to offer. Definitely planning on making this a yearly trip. Thank you Roger & Elaine!

Summer vacation

We could not of asked for anything better. My children loved the water, boats and exploring the areas. My son adopted and took care of a salamander, was sad to release him when we left. My middle son enjoyed using the loon call and called the lake loons his friends. My 2 year old daughter learned how to cast a rod. Everyone that fished caught one. This cottage was PERFECT!

This cottage was PERFECT!!! This place checked all the boxes for us: Peaceful, private, gorgeous waterfront, rustic feel with modern amenities, gigantic windows, and a large screened in porch. As soon as you enter the gate to the property, the view is PRICELESS. We made it a point to go out every day just to see that view. The pond had a loon family with a little baby and they would come directly over to the dock. This cottage had everything you needed even a salad spinner. Roger was an excellent host and even called us a few days before we arrived to touch base. Roger and Elaine have thought of everything to make this place special. Truly one of a kind. Paradise

This property has been described as a hidden gem and we would totally agree with that assessment. It is a spectacular property actually. Very private cottage right on the water, located on a very quiet, pristine pond, which connects to Long Pond by way of a channel, with many beaver homes(dams) along the way. It’s a really nice paddle or boat ride. Don’t pass up this one. You won’t find another like it and will be blown away with the amazing view just entering the property.

As advertised. Gorgeous! Stunning sunsets. Loons out and about everyday. Beavers and ospreys around often. Enjoyed the fishing. Nice trails to hike. Very relaxing. Shout out to the White Duck pub and tavern .

Quiet Paradise

This was a dream cottage for our family because we value privacy and a quiet place to relax with our two dogs. As you enter the property, you see amazing views of the valley – it’s like entering the gates of heaven! The cottage was exceptionally clean, and very cozy, with a beautiful view of the water only ten feet away! The lovely, well-appointed kitchen also has a great view of the water. Best of all was having a woodstove for those chilly, rainy days in the fall. There are miles of snowmobile trails for hiking, running, or walking our dogs, which made their adjustment to a new place so easy because they were so tired! Another highlight for nature-lovers is the stream that connects Ingham Pond with Long Pond. It provided a wonderful place to paddle, especially at dusk, when all the beavers are active. The Ingham Pond Loons had left before we arrived, but we were still able to see a couple up in Long Pond. Thank you, Roger and Elaine, for sharing your wonderful cottage and acres of beautiful land!
