“McMenamins Edgefield is an experience, and we've stayed there a number of times. The rooms, for the most part, are from another era (it used to be the county "poor farm"), but the grounds are spectacular, the heated outdoor pool is stunning at night. The food is somewhat expensive, but my wife and I shared a grilled Ahi appetizer that was outstanding- probably the best I've ever had. “There were no towel rods in the bathroom. Mildew on the tile grout. Still food in the fridge from previous guest. Also, an insane amount of light comes under the door from the hallway at night. Had to use towels and extra pillows to shut it out so we could sleep.”
