Breathtaking Designer A-Frame In The High Desert

Nestled within the Santa Rosa National Monument, a spectacular designer retreat awaits with breathtaking, 360° panoramic views. Perched above the Pines to Palms 74, this newly renovated A-frame has 4 bedrooms with custom made furniture. Escape into the healing landscape of the high desert and leave feeling rejuvenated and inspired. Day trips to Idyllwild, Palm Springs, Joshua tree, all close by. The house has 300mbps wifi, 3 decks, and a Japanese Onsen inspired master bath with infrared sauna.

The various spaces in our home is like something taken from an architectural magazine. Inspired by traditional Scandinavian cabins and modern Japanese architecture the house was completely remodelled with modern and warm touches.

Perched in the mountains between Idyllwild and Palm Desert this spectacular A-Frame has the most incredible views of the desert valley.

Majority of the furniture and fixtures are custom made and unique. Private independent entrance on the ground floor.
Outdoor living awaits you off three decks over the two levels of the house as well as the front patio garden at the front of the house. Inside enjoy open concept living with soaring 30ft ceilings, floor to ceiling windows with northern views of the mountains. Watch the most incredible sunrises and sunsets from living room and upstairs patio. Every room has incredible views of the mountains and the high desert. All bedrooms have personal desks for writing and reading.

All amenities includes brand new appliances. We have a 75in TV for watching your favourite shows or movies: this is wired up to apple TV with stereo sound system which guests will be free to use as they please. Streaming platforms include: HBO, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime & ESPN+. Beautiful custom solid oak dining table sits 8 comfortably.


All three bathrooms have rainfall shower heads, with the master bathroom (spa room) including a brand new egg shaped bathtub and an infrared sauna.

Bedrooms are each unique:
Master bedroom - in the A-Frame loft with a private SPA/bathroom
2nd bedroom - "Lavender Room" - east facing - on top level with a 400sqft private patio and ensuite bathroom
3rd bedroom - "Sage Room" includes queen bed and terrific views of the desert
4th bedroom - custom built bunk beds that all kids will love, both twin beds are oversized to also comfortably accommodate adults

Fast 300mbps fiber optic internet with mesh wifi throughout the house.

There is parking for 5 cars outside the front of the house and plenty more available on the cul de sac street.

A Dream Vacation House

The house itself is beautifully designed with lots of modern amenities. But to me, nothing can beat the view of the valleys below, the mountain ranges in the distance and the glorious sky bracketed by sunrise and sunset. The spacious decks keep drawing me out.Location-wise, it is a bit remote (but that is exactly what gives you the impression that you are in another world, away from crowds and traffic and noise). Palm Desert is about 30 minutes away with tons of shopping and restaurants.
