Cozy loft retreat w/Mountain Views in Mtn City near VA Creeper Trail & Damascus.

  • Questo loft di montagna, appena ristrutturato, è immerso in un tranquillo paesaggio boschivo e può ospitare fino a 4 persone. Il loft dispone di un’ampia terrazza con tavolo alto e sedie, perfetta per godersi la splendida vista sulle montagne. Gli interni in stile rustico includono una cucina completa con bancone, tavolo e sedie per 4 persone. La cucina è dotata di piano cottura, forno, frigorifero, lavastoviglie, friggitrice ad aria, macchina da caffè Keurig, microonde e tostapane. Sono forniti utensili, pentole e padelle, oltre ai condimenti e alle spezie di base. Sono disponibili anche sapone e detersivo per la lavastoviglie.

    La camera da letto ha un letto queen size e un letto singolo. La biancheria da letto è inclusa e i letti saranno già fatti. Due futon nella zona giorno, uno matrimoniale e uno queen size, offrono ulteriori posti letto.

    Si accede al bagno completo dalla camera da letto; è dotato di doccia e vasca combinate. Asciugamani e asciugacapelli sono forniti.

    Il piano inferiore ospita la sala ricreativa e la zona lavanderia. La sala ricreativa ha una TV, un tavolo da ping-pong, un secondo frigorifero e un tavolo con sedie per 4 persone. La zona lavanderia è dotata di lavatrice, asciugatrice e lavandino. Detersivo per il bucato e tutto il necessario sono forniti.

    Tra le attrazioni nei dintorni ci sono le escursioni in bici sul Va Creeper Trail, le escursioni sull’Appalachian Trail, gite in barca e pesca sul lago Watauga, e fuoristrada nell’area ricreativa di Doe Mountain. Altre escursioni al Mount Rogers e alle Grayson Highlands.

    La proprietà si trova a circa 10 minuti di auto dal centro di Mountain City, nel Tennessee, e a circa 20 minuti di auto da Damascus, in Virginia. Sono facilmente raggiungibili anche Boone e Blowing Rock, nella Carolina del Nord, e Bristol, in Virginia.

    Parcheggio per 4 veicoli. Su richiesta, è disponibile un parcheggio aggiuntivo per i rimorchi.

I absolutely loved this place. Secluded and a gorgeous view, yet so close to the places we wanted to visit. The place was super clean, loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the mountain air and view! Ping pong was a hit also

The view was awesome. The candles outside helped with the flies & mosquitoes. Very quiet and peaceful place to unwind. Very spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked and having a washer and dryer on site was great. We saw either bear cubs or deer each day of our stay. It was a wonderful experience. Jeff was easy to get in contact with any questions we had. Would stay at the loft again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was incredibly cozy, clean, and comfortable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, making meals easy and enjoyable during our stay.Our boys absolutely loved the ping pong table! The view was simply breathtaking—one of the most beautiful we've experienced—and we found ourselves constantly stopping to take it all in.We also accidentally locked ourselves out during our stay, and the host was amazing. He responded quickly, helped us get back in right away, and was very kind and pleasant to communicate with throughout the entire process.We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely love to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Perfect hideway

While the initial trek up the driveway in the dark was daunting, everything about our stay was great. The cabin is comfortable, spacious, and has all the basics. I'd definitely stay here again.

This was a relaxing weekend. The cabin is secluded yet the area still has activities to nearby. We really enjoyed having breakfast and coffee overlooking the mountains. Great directions for everything we needed. Thank you!

This is a beautiful cabin. The view of the surrounding mountains was picturesque. The raised deck was a perfect place for all of us to hang out and take in everything The cabin was in excellent shape and exceptional clean. Kitchen was nicely stocked with lots of essentials.I will stay here again when i come back

Very discrete clean little cabin up on a hilltop. Very quiet and secluded with amazing views and a nice patio of the bedroom. The host gave perfect instructions and directions. Will definitely stay here again!!

A Quiet Getaway

The Loft is indeed cozy, quiet, and a bit off the beaten path. The view is pretty, and it is a relief to step out of the car and not hear ambient traffic noise. I hope to return again.

Excellent stay!

My husband and I really appreciated how quiet and cozy the Loft is. The hosts are local which is always nice and they keep their property very clean. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The view is outstanding and honestly would be great for family or bridal photos. You can also see so many different animals on the drive in. It was a wonderful mountain visit.

Quiet retreat

The property is clean and very well equipped. The extra directions Jeff provided were very helpful in getting to the property, especially as we arrived after dark. The views are incredible and the peaceful setting is perfect for a chance to unwind is perfect for a getaway

Overall impression is very positive. I booked the property in mid-May to attend the Damascus Trail Days festival on a two week drive/hike of the Appalachian Trail. I returned to The Loft in late May with my wife. This is special place...rustic cabin-like feel yet well equipped, spectacular mountain views, quiet seclusion but close to all modern conveniences. We enjoyed spending time in both Damascus and Mountain City. If you go, visit the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and Damascus Outfitters in Damascus. Also, on Saturday evening there's an impromptu show of classic cars on Mountain City's main street. Oh, and bring a bike to ride the Virginia Creeper bike path. Did I mention Watauga Lake? So much to enjoy in this area. Go!

Very vice cozy spot. Very clean and and seemed to be fairly new. Awesome view up on a hill. Driveway was steep but it is paved and was not slippery when wet. Will return in future if i am needing to be in the area!

Peaceful

To say this property was quiet and peaceful is an understatement. We throughly enjoyed our visit. The host is so kind and responsive. The place was so clean and beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. My husband loved the brown chair in the living room. He said,”this is a man’s chair” He definitely took a few naps in it during our trip. Thank you for a pleasant and relaxing vacation.

Great place. Great view. Great communication and guests on the first evening.....a Mama bear and her 2 cubs.Too bad we weren't ready with our cameras when they strolled across the yard. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home. For future guests, the instructions say not to leave food in your car. That's a good rule and I'm glad our car was already unloaded.

This review covers two stays in May 2026...I liked it so much the first time that I brought my wife back to enjoy it. And she loved it! This garage apartment sits at 2800 feet on a secluded hill with the most incredible mountain views. It's rustic charm upstairs provides a very cabin-like feel with a cozy and comfortable living room, kitchen, separate bedroom and bath. The downstairs has a spacious rec room with TV and ping-pong table, a second refrigerator and a laundry. The host has outfitted the rental with high quality towels, kitchen appliances, utensils, plates, pots, pans, etc. to ensure us VRBOers lack nothing and enjoy our stay. And there is a table and chair set on the deck outside the bedroom where we enjoyed our morning coffee taking in the views. The cabin is close to both downtown Mountain City, TN and Damascus, VA. The Appalachian Trail, Virginia Creeper Bike Trail, Mt Rogers Recreation Area, Watauga Lake and much more are nearby as are grocery stores, gas and restaurants...so you can easily enjoy the great outdoors while having the daily conveniences close at hand. I highly recommend this property.
