“This was the perfect house for us. We especially loved the separate bedroom for our son to stay in. It was a fully stocked kitchen and a nice grill so we cooked in every night. The hot tub was great too! Mindi and John are wonderful hosts with top notch communication. The location was perfect for exploring the National Park and surrounding areas. The pictures just don't do this place justice, it's way cooler!”

“Beautiful setting, very clean, a few uninvited guests but no worries, all good. Small refrigerator holds a few days worth of poke, side dishes and drinks. Late last night, wild pigs were at the front doorway and got into the trashcan. Nothing to be alarmed about as long as your mindful of their damagous behavior. Mahalo Jessica!”

“After attending a wedding and staying at a resort at the northwest side of the island, we decided to try the opposite side. Very comfortable location overlooking a golf course. Even played a few holes. Very short drive to Volcano National Park where we spent quite a bit of time. Home was very clean, well equipped and owners were very accommodating. Very relaxing location. I highly recommend this location and would definitely come back if I was to stay in the area.”

Her knowledge of flora and fauna enhanced our experience. Don’t worry about trading comfort for rural retreat. Our bedroom cabin was super clean, warm, appointed with quality linens and towels, and worked well for the four of us. This is a must do experience you won’t stop thinking about.”

“We enjoyed this unique property, especially the deck in the morning and evening. The stray cats were sweet and my daughter really liked having them around. Only issue was with the showers. The outdoor closed in shower was very hot and unable to change the temp; the indoor shower was chilly and the other outdoor shower ‘one with nature’ was just right. Other than that, the property was as described.”

“Lovely place tucked back in the vibrant green. This was the perfect place to end the day after exploring the island, very comfortable with every amenity that you need. “The bungalow was quaint and lovely. Loved hearing the doves, frogs, roosters. There were bugs but that’s expected in this area. No A/C but with the fans and closing the curtains while we were gone during the day it kept the place cooler. They also provide extra fans if needed. The tap water tastes good. The lanai is very nice, the table inside is great too. For a couple or small family who intends to explore…this is a great place.”

"Senza il soggiorno presso wild ginger hotel la nostra vacanza a Big Island non sarebbe stata meravigliosamente completa. L'atmosfera hawaiana, la cortesia del personale, la hall accogliente con la musica di sottofondo, il meraviglioso giardino ricco di piante tropicali, il sottofondobdel canto degli uccelli che ci ha cullato ogni notte, il mare dalla finestra, le semplici, ma complete colazioni a base di frutta e ciambelle, la struttura nel suo complesso very wild, tutto ha contribuito a rendere eccezionale il nostro soggiorno."
