“The village of Silvermines is nestled on the side of Keeper mountain in a gorgeous valley with the amenities of Nenagh a quarter hour away by car and the beauty of Lough Derg and the Shannon River also very nearby. We were comfortable in the spacious two storey apartment and had ready access to some really lovely parts of the country.”

“The house was well appointed, very clean and located on beautiful grounds with a garden and plenty of outside space to enjoy the view of Lough Derg. Our hosts,Jim and Annie, could not have been more helpful, kind and gracious. They anticipated and provided for every need. We stayed for a month and wouldn't change a thing about our stay.”

“The cottage was very comfortable. It had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The location was central to all the places we visited. We enjoyed our daily drives through the countryside and having a relaxing place to stay when we returned each evening. On our final day, we enjoyed touring the local area and found that there was plenty to do in or near Mountshannon. It was nice taking a break from driving. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early...
