“Fabulous hotel in lovely location. I could tell you about the great bedroom with very spacious bathroom with great towels. Both spotless. I could tell you about their excellent dinner menu & equally excellent breakfast. Instead I'll tell you about the staff. Every one of them from check-in to restaurant staff were friendly, knowledgeable & professional. A credit to the hotel.”

(This is disabled). I know this may seem silly, but sometimes you just want to relax and chill with something on TV you want to watch. “We had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. The food was incredible (and plentiful!) and the rooms were spotless, cosy, and luxurious all at once. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly switch off and relax, and yet still feel utterly spoiled....

“Overall a good experience but we had to change room in the middle of the nigth. Nothing to complain about the first but around midnight we discovered that the hotel also has a music bar and the room was just above it. We complained and were moved to another room. So happy end despite of the inconvenience. Since music is made every week end, it would be nice not to give out those rooms when others are available. Everything else was good: cleanliness, breakfast, parking.”
