“The location is magnificent, this is such a stunning part of devon, and you walk out the door basically onto the beach! The room was beautiful, with colour and texture and charm. the only slight against it was the only parking is the public carpark nextdoor so about £10 per day, but thats not much of a gripe in the scheme of things and they were super dog friendly. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. ”

“A warm welcome after our long journey, which relaxes you straight away. We were shown our room, and it met our needs. We celebrated our Wedding Anniversary over this time, and found the staff very approachable, with the Breakfast having a good choice overlooking the beach. Ample secure carparking facility next too the hotel. The facilities in the hotel/ room, met our needs. We would recommend to others, and hope to return in the not too distant future. ”

“We booked very last minute, due to an unforeseen problem with our holiday cottage. When we arrived it was literally 5 mis before they stopped serving food BUT the chap said I'll go and ask the chef .,. He did and we enjoyed a very hearty excellent steak and ale pie each. Absolutely delicious, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast cooked to order and v attentive staff throughout.”

“We had an amazing room, The Penthouse, with beautiful views of the coast. Had a very warm welcome. We did repeatedly say the trip was to celebrate our Ruby wedding Anniversary but this was not acknowledged! The interior decor and setting is beautiful. “The Anchor Inn is an absolute gem! The rooms are a good size and well-appointed, if perhaps a little dated. Super friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble. “The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav. The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door.
