“We had a very large canvas tent with multiple rooms and a thatched roof. The bed was very comfortable and netted to keep out flying critters.The front balcony overlooked a savanna type landscape where animal viewing is certainly possible, though we only saw them on our game drive. Very tasty buffet options were provided at dinner and breakfast. There are two game drives per day, with the morning drive shortly after sunrise.The game drive was surprisingly eventful as we saw 6 young lions behaving...

“Vorweg muss man sagen: Wir hatten schlechtes Wetter. 20 Grad, Sturm und etwas Regen erwartet man einfach im Sommer nicht. Auf den Games Drives haben wir z.T. gefroren… Aber wir haben Löwen mit Jungen gesehenen, was absolut toll war, und ein Black Rhino, was wirklich sehr selten ist. Aber ansonsten muss ich sagen, dass wir doch von Timbavati Gebiet etwas enttäuscht waren. “The place is lovely and me and my lady enjoyed it. The only issue I had was the bed, it was not that comfortable, same goes to the pillows, they where big. Oh and board needs some attention because when you walk inside the tent your partner got to wake up because they squicky. But nevertheless I enjoyed it, even proposed and she said yes”

Very comfortable tent accommodations, attentive staff, plentiful variety of interesting tasty food, knowledgeable guides for birds and animals and worth the pricey cost. Remember to plan for tips with a well staffed safari camp. What a great experience!”
