“Good availability for parking, but car park could do with being resurfaced. Easy to check in and room was nice - very comfortable bed, a few quirks in the bathroom with a very low mirror over the sink that has you bent over to use and you can’t open the window to let out the steam. We had breakfast and dinner whilst here. Both meals were excellent- good choice and very tasty. Good selection of drinks as well. Was a good base for a visit to the area and would recommend ”

“This is a lovely hotel in the perfect location for a visit to Christchurch. The premier room we had was huge and well appointed. The aircon was very useful in the hot weather we had. We got the early check in, which I recommend as it’s easier to find a parking spot earlier in the day. The staff were very friendly and even gave us a free welcome drink. We will definately stay here again.”

“The Cliff House was an excellent resto-pub with rooms. We bagged the last room and although a bit on the small side (which he had been advised in advance), it was well appointed and scrupulously clean. The bed was very comfortable and the furnishings had a nautical theme. Food was outstanding and great value. Staff were delightful and most helpful. The beer garden was a bonus too.
