“The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Rooms were large and the bed was comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Both dinner and the included breakfast had a great variety of choices and the food was very good. The surroundings were beautiful in a very quiet area.”

“Bra trevligt bemötande och info om parkering 100m bort. Rummet perfekt mkt fint badrum. Enda minus är den branta trappan upp till rummen. Nedervån är restaurang där vi hade en mkt bra middag, inredning i traditionell tysk stil.”

“Ja allt va bra förutom kaffet vid frukosten, jätteblaskigt tyvärr. Även trist att info om att restaurangen va stängd dör säsongen. Det borde framgå när du bokar tycker jag”

“Unbelievable experience!! Loved everything about this castle… if you want to stay in a 750+ year old castle with unbelievable staff, stay here! Restaurant was great, food amazing… Ano (not sure if I spelled it right) and his wife (and staff) were unbelievably accommodating. Highly recommend staying here! Definitely worth the trip and money… can’t wait to come back!”

“It is situated in tranquil village around the old monastery. Check in, Restaurant and Bar are in main Hotel Kloster Haydau in approx. 100m distance from The Old Post Station. Private parking in Poststation private yards normally possible. Very friendly staff. This was my second night spent here, first was Year ago. Price performance ratio is splendid, and only some 30kms away from Autobahns, You can have nice and peaceful stay in rural area. I'll definitely reserve a room again.”
