Paterson Cottage è un casolare in pietra indipendente che è stato accuratamente restaurato pietra per pietra e ora combina il meglio della vita moderna con il fascino del vecchio mondo. Situato in aperta campagna sul terreno agricolo del proprietario, a soli 15 minuti di auto da Inverness, è situato in posizione ideale per una lussuosa vacanza sulle Highland in un ambiente incontaminato. La zona giorno principale è a pianta aperta. Questa camera davvero deliziosa ha pareti in pietra a vista, pavimenti in legno massello e un'accogliente stufa a legna all'estremità. Gli alti soffitti a volta conferiscono un'aria di spazio e luce e le ampie vetrate dei cottage si affacciano sui giardini privati per aprire campi oltre. La cucina è luminosa e moderna, con unità integrate. Ci sono due camere da letto ben arredate e coordinate (una con bagno) e un bagno di dimensioni familiari. Le porte del patio si aprono sul patio privato con prati oltre. Se hai qualche ora di riserva, perché non imparare a preparare deliziosi pane e pizza durante il tuo soggiorno? I corsi possono essere prenotati, al costo, previo accordo diretto con il proprietario.

We were welcomed by gifts of fresh eggs and home made bread, scones and jam by the owner, which was a lovely surprise, thank you. Paterson Cottage has been beautifully renovated to a high standard and was spotlessly clean and well equipped, both inside and out. It is really well located for cycling and walking, with easy access to the Black Isle, Inverness, Moray beaches etc, with lovely small villages/cafes and quiet back roads. This area has more diverse amenities than the Cairngorms and we would definitely recommend it. It is situated close to the A835, Ullapool road, so some periodic traffic noise, but this would not put us off staying again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paterson Cottage. The cottage was very clean, cosy and had a lovely view over the surrounding fields and hills.it was very well located for exploring the local area and beyond. It is close to a busy trunk road, but this did not bother us in any way. The cottage is well decorated and Catherine was very welcoming. There were lots of great touches to the cottage and we really enjoyed the home baking left on arrival. We would definitely return and recommend Paterson cottage. This is a lovely cottage set in beautiful countryside.

This is a lovely cottage set in beautiful countryside. It is well equipped and comfortable. There was a high standard of cleanliness which made us feel safe in these unpredictable times. Stayed in Paterson cottage with my young family for a week. We found it to have everything we needed for a comfortable stay with a large garden which was perfect for our children. The location was ideal and we would definitely recommend the cottage to others for a relaxing holiday.

Lovely cottage on the Black Aisle.

Lovely cottage on the Black Aisle. Cozy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great log burning stove. Sits just off a main road, can be noisy during the day but much quieter at night. No wifi available but suited the kind of relaxing week we were after.

Highly recommended. Stayed for a week, as a base to tour the west coast. Close to Inverness, very clean, and everything required for our stay was thought of. Owners were lovely, and even cooked some homemade bread for us. A real home from home.

TWO THINGS mainly right on a VERY NOISY road A835 which we are not used to ,not isolated enough . could have been more information from the owners . eg a pack showing restaurants, pubs & places to visit , although there was a plethora of pamphlets . Large cottage with all that is needed & in very good condition - area is easy journey to Inverness Dingwall , a bit further to Torridon , Loch Maree , & gairloch etc overall quite good
