We stayed in the James Herriot room and it’s the little details such as a piece of cake a glass of port and the accessories were in keeping with the great man himself all very well thought out. We dined that evening and we were not disappointed the food was exceptional and well executed. A warm and welcoming experience by staff who were so friendly!”

“The accommodation was lovely although a little tired in places. We stayed in a Geo Dome (D2) and although the weather was not ideal due to Storm Dave the room was warm and comfy. I slept well enough and toilet not far from the dome so no real issues. The thing that let the place down was the service in the pub/restaurant. “Friendly staff, good location”

“Clean room, lovely bar, nice range of drinks. Nice sunday dinner, great atmosphere, log fire bar. Breakfast was the usual cereals etc, bacon, toast, sausage was Richmond (not my preferred). Nice fresh croissants and goot drink selection I have stayed before and will stay again due to price, location, lovely romantic stay”
