“This place is a very neat place to stay. I am a city girl. So coming here was a unique experience. They have several animals. Sheep, different types of birds. Chickens, turkey, peacock, geese, cattle with big horns, mules or something that looked like a cross between a horse and donkey, Like i said city girl. Lol. But several animals that you get to see and you can tell are loved and well cared for. So it is like waking up in a country tv show. Breakfast was wonderful too. For a city person...

“This property is beautiful and unique. It was clean and comfortable. The only weird thing to us was we never met or talked to a staff member. It’s an Inn which oozes hospitality with no one to greet you, check you in or show you the place. We wandered into the kitchen that had some staples type things for breakfast but certainly not a breakfast bar. We weren’t sure which part of the kitchen or things in it we could use. “The room was very spacious, I loved the vintage looking shower. Water pressure was good and hot water was consistent. Didn't find an ice machine but that is all I was missing because the sweet old man who I think owns it made sure we were taken care of!!! He even brought us a microwave. “This was by far the most comfortable bed we slept in! The whole property was wonderful! In the evening we sat on the rocking chair with bottle of Jack and watched fireflies! Very quiet and relaxing! “Ended up getting a room at the last minute on the day of and it ended up being the best thing! We had a room at a local lakeside place and it was horrible, so bad that we couldn't stay and looked online at expedia and found the Hampton Inn. It was so nice to take a shower in a clean bathroom. The breakfast was a nice touch the next morning!”
