“I am rooting for these guys! It’s a beautiful place and we loved staying in Oban away from the tacky ocean front area spots. We loved the views and the grounds and the library with the assortment of whiskeys. Here is a photo of some highlights! The library and the peacock and the views. Looks like a castle. ”

“Ottima posizione a pochi minuti dal terminal traghetti. La struttura andrebbe rimodernata in molti punti e abbisognerebbe di un po' di pulizia in più e di qualche lavoro di ristrutturazione ( pavimento scricchiolante e rumoroso). Sicuramente il prezzo è troppo elevato per quanto offerto.”

“Really lovely Victorian guest house on the sea front a short walk to the centre. The view from our front room top floor was amazing. ”

“We had the family room, situated at the front overlooking the bay of Connel and the highland hills in the background. We had summer weather, what helpt making it fantastic. “J'ai été très bien reçu. Ma chambre était propre, spacieuse et très confortable. J'ai utilisé une salle de bain partagée qui, elle aussi était propre. J'ai vraiment été satisfaite de mon séjour.”

“Hotel scelto per girare le highlands occidentali. Oban è in una posizione ottimale per visitare le isole e i paesaggi spettacolari di questa zona. Oban è una piccola cittadina e il centro si raggiunge comodamente a piedi. Hotel con vista spettacolare sulla baia (quantomeno dalla stanza che abbiamo avuto la fortuna di avere, con tanto di letto a baldacchino) e assolutamente da non perdere la colazione di Sarah”

"The right place for a one night stay. Close to the ferry pier and the fish market. The building is old without lift, reception in the pub at ground floor. The room has everything you need in a tiny space. Windows haven't been renewed, very hard to open. Usb plugs by the bed are a smart idea but unfortunately not working. I asked for luggage deposit next morning as I was on a day tour (like 80% of tourists in Oban) but I wasn't allowed due to a private event. Overall a good value for money if you look for an essential stay. "
