Lichen Lodge - Large Cabin Retreat in the Cool Pines

Stunning cabin the pines with gorgeous views! Whether you’re escaping to the pines for a relaxing retreat or gearing up for a fun outdoor adventure, this cabin has all you need to make the most of your stay. Perfectly situated in the heart of Munds Park, this beautiful, tri-level home is a short distance drive to hiking trails, UTV off-roading, lakes, restaurants, and the many sights of northern Arizona. The small town of Munds Park is a popular spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet still close enough to enjoy the amenities and views of Flagstaff, Sedona, and the Grand Canyon.
This is a great space for larger groups as it can sleep up to 10 comfortably and is fully stocked with most essentials you will need. Upon entry, the main floor features a welcoming great room with abundant natural lighting, A-frame ceiling, a cozy fireplace, and open kitchen. The main level has two bedrooms with a full bathroom. Step out onto the wrap around deck with your morning coffee or evening wine and enjoy the sound of the breeze in the trees and peek-a-boo view of Lake O’Dell.

The top floor private primary suite includes an updated bathroom with a large vanity and spacious tile shower. The upstairs loft has a work from home desk set up with Starlink internet and a well-lit reading nook.

The lower-level features another living room, fourth bedroom furnished with a twin-over-full bunk bed plus another twin bed, half bath, TV, various games, and a large, covered wrap-around deck.

Cabin Perfection

This cabin is truly such a gem. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac nestled in the trees with a beautiful view from the deck. The cabin was clean, cozy, and offered every amenity you could possibly need! The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, cookware, spices and so organized for easy use. Tons of games downstairs for the kids to play. The internet works great and every room has a smart TV with access to all of the regular streaming sites. The property is fully enclosed with fencing/gates around the deck and lower level for the safety of your dogs (and your peace of mind that they’re contained!) if you bring them. We had the best time and will definitely be back!

INCREDIBLE PROPERTY - WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!!

We had an extended stay due to a renovation at our home & the Owner could not have been more accommodating. Definitely a first class property - spacious decks with gorgeous lighting, fabulous grilling areas, working TV’s throughout; more than enough room for guests; wonderful neighbors; lots of blue jays, squirrels & even an incredible fox sighting!:); quiet cul-de-sac; - just everything that you need for a wonderful get-a-way. The owner is a true gem & we appreciate it! We hope to be back next summer!! ! Ty So Much! :)

Lichen Lodge Weekend

Very enjoyable family weekend as the whole process was very smooth from start to finish with excellent communications from the owner. Home was very clean and well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and extra towels for the family in the bathroom. The decks were private and had nice views with multiple bar-b-ques and a smoker. Overall, a very nice stay in the mountains.

Fantastic House!

This was such a great property! We stayed for an early Christmas and the house had everything we could possibly need! The layout was perfect for our family and for everyone to have their own space. The owner was also very easy to reach!

Perfect Family Getaway!

This cabin was perfect for our family getaway out of the heat of Phoenix. It was warm during our stay and we were grateful the cabin has air conditioning for daytime. Evenings the house cooled right off with the windows open and we loved spending time on the deck. We used the firepit and my husband was excited to use the Traeger. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful Place

First of all, any place that welcomes pets gets my top recommendation. Our family got together for a birthday celebration and that includes our two golden retrievers. The place was perfect! Everything we needed was in abundance. From grilling steaks to making breakfast, all cooking essentials were available. The beds were comfortable. The furniture was comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast outside in the mornings on the patio. There was nothing missing. From top to bottom, it's a beautiful place. I'm certain we'll be back.

Best Cabin in Munds!!

We had a fantastic experience at this awesome cabin!! The bedrooms on the main floor were clean and comfortable. Spacious kitchen, well stocked. My two teen boys loved the downstairs hang out area, and the loft was a perfect place to take a work call. The two large decks outside are nice, and there's even a view of the lake. Overall, this cabin exceeded all our expectations!!

Great cabin in the pines!

This was an awesome cabin for our family’s short getaway. We had 3 generations staying at the cabin (my parents, us, plus kids ages 3-17)!! It has bedrooms on the main floor which worked out perfectly for my aging parents. The downstairs has its own living area and bedroom, so the older kids had their own space to hang out, sleep in, and stay up late without bothering the rest of us. There was plenty of space for the entire family! The cabin was stocked with literally everything we needed. There were thoughtful extras that I’ve never seen at a vacation rental before (like an instapot and NICE washer/dryer). The decks are super peaceful to sit and have coffee and have newer comfy outdoor furniture. It’s a super quiet location with bigger lots than most of Munds Park, so you aren’t right on top of your neighbors. I also loved that there’s a small fenced area so our dog could be outside with us without worrying about her. We are definitely planning to rebook this cabin for a longer stay!

Great Property

This home was great. We had 2 small families, and it was more than enough space. Having 2 family rooms / TV areas is great when you have children. The home was very well stocked, with everything you can think of, from the kitchen panty to games for the kids. I would definitely stay there again.
