“Great place to stay if you plan to be out all day. Staff are wonderful & so friendly. Would be nice to have a mini fridge in the single rooms. Luckily I had the family suite which had one. Worth noting that the juggalos are completely dark with minimal electrical lights, no windows. Just a shutter but if you open that all the cold air leaves the room. “Wana Kubu was a 5 star experience in a clean comfortable homestay. Scdeduled their airport pick up service and was picked up at 1:00 AM by Jaiya, one of the hosts. Didn't need to settle bills until next morning. Room was sparse but clean and quiet and comfortable in newer building. Next morning breakfast was provided for a small charge and tasted good. “The room was small but clean. The bathroom is outside under a roof (mostly private, but you can potentially hear your neighbors. The breakfast was the same menu options each day but good quality. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool in the courtyard is open during the day, but does not offer much shade. The distance to Padang Padang beach cannot be beat. There are many local stores and restaurants within walking distance”

“The staff were wonderful, they welcomed you as if you were an old friend. Nana the host is so hospitable and ensures you are comfortable and feel part of a family. Everyone was so nice. Nana made biscuits and cakes. Lina cooked soup, Eka made me endless coffees and Elfin gave me a lift downtown. We even went out for dinner and dancing. The amenities are lovely. The room was spacious, bathroom is massive. In your room there are tea and coffee facilities or there a coffee machine in the kitchen....
