Buon hotel
Appena si arriva, si può avere l’impressione di essere molto fuori, Non è in zona centrale ma poco distante dall’albergo ci sono 2 linee di tram 16 e 17 che portano direttamente in centro. La nostra camera era molto spaziosa, un po’ datata come arredamento e senza aria condizionata e con una doccia molto molto piccola. In camera ci hanno messo a disposizione due ventilatori che non sono serviti. La camera è fornita anche di frigobar ed è molto molto pulita. Per quanto riguarda la colazione è di qualità e abbastanza varia soprattutto per chi ama la colazione salata, meno varia la colazione dolce. Tutto il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Non forniscono le ciabatte da camera. Poco distante dall’albergo c’è un castello molto famoso raggiungibile a piedi. Nei dintorni ci sono molti ristoranti validi. Ci torneremmo volentieri e lo consigliamo.

Hotel carino molto ben collegato al centro
Hotel molto carino, in zona super tranquilla e a 3 minuti a piedi dalla bellissima residenza di Nymphenburg. Personale dell'hotel di una gentilezza e simpatia estreme, davvero disponibili a dare tutte le informazioni che possono servire e a dare anche consigli su come organizzarsi le visite. A pochi minuti a piedi c'è la fermata dei tram che portano direttamente in centro in 10 minuti. Camere carine e pulite. Un unico appunto: nella nostra camera faceva molto molto caldo di notte, nonostante spegnessimo i termosifoni. Nel complesso ottima esperienza, per cui mi sentirei di consigliare vivamente questo hotel.

Una notte a Monaco
Ci sono stato solo una notte in una singola (quindi poco spaziosa) ma l'albero è veramente tenuto bene e il personale è gentilissimo.

Bella zona e non lontano dal centro!
Gentilissimo il personale, sempre disponibile a darci indicazioni. Detto questo stanza abbastanza piccola e non molto moderna posizionata di fronte alle scale, però molto pulita e ben riscaldata! Per arrivare a Marien Platz sono soltanto 4-5 fermate, io e la mia ragazza ci siamo fatti questo percorso dopo una gran mangiata e bevuta, in 45 minuti!

Comodo, accogliente e tranquillo
L'albergo è piuttosto comodo a 5 o 6 minuti a piedi dalla fermata del tram col quale si raggiunge il centro città in circa un quarto d'ora. Le camere sono pulite soltanto un po' piccole, con le valigie ci si stava a malapena. L'aspetto esterno è carinissimo, sembra davvero un castello e sulla via si trova sempre parcheggio gratuito per l'auto. I proprietari sono davvero gentili e disponibili, ci hanno aiutato con la piantina della città e della metro e consigliato un ristorante con piatti tipici bavaresi nelle vicinanze. Inoltre da non sottovalutare il fatto che si trova a 5 minuti a piedi dal castello di Nymphenburg e in un quartiere residenziale molto tranquillo. La colazione è a buffet ma non è compresa nel prezzo della camera ed è piuttosto cara. Nel complesso un hotel da consigliare.

Hotel Laimer Hof - un piccolo castello
Hotel davvero grazioso e pulito; il padrone dell'hotel è disponibilissimo e fornisce anche tutte le informazioni e i biglietti per andare in centro. il centro di monaco si raggiunge in 10 minuti di tram, la fermata è a 5 minuti dall'albergo. Quartiere tranquillo e pulito, l'hotel dall'esterno sembra un piccolo castello e le camere sono molto carine e curate. La colazione è all'americana e si trova di tutto. Proprio dietro all'albergo c'è anche un castello che si può visitare circondato da un enorme parco in cui è possibile fare delle passeggiate.

Das Hotelzimmer ist ein Relikt vergangener Zeiten. Ein gewisser Charme ist zwar gegeben, schaut man aber genauer hin, bröckelt die Fassade relativ massiv. Am Personal liegt es sicherlich nicht, wahrscheinlich eher an den Eigentümern. Der Preis für eine Nacht ist höchstwahrscheinlich nur aufgrund der Lage in der Nähe der Nymphenburg zu rechtfertigen, ansonsten nicht nachvollziehbar.

It was a very small, dark attic room. Bed was comfortable, thankfully. Bathroom was modern and clean with good water pressure. The complimentary water bottles were already opened and used which was rather gross. We had to open the windows to get some fresh air and the pedestrian noise after midnight was pretty loud and you could smell people smoking cigarettes outside too. I booked this place specifically for the reviews and free parking, but they only have a handful of parking spots that are long taken before we arrived. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Expedia listed this as a VIP booking but I don't know why. There was nothing VIP about this room or experience.

My wife and I stayed here during the great December blizzard of 2023. The staff could not have been more helpful. (a special shout-out to Tobias). While the hotel is not within walking distance of the historic city center, during non-blizzard times there is easy access by train and subway. And during the blizzard, we walked to the Nymphenburg Palace and some cute local cafés, which are all within a few blocks. Two thumbs up.

Geht so ...
Der Name des Hotels und die sehr positiven Bewertungen wecken gewisse Erwartungen, die leider nicht erfüllt werden. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und nicht vergleichbar mit modernen Budget-Hotels in München. Das Fenster im Bad schloss nicht richtig, am Fenster des eigentlichen Zimmers könnten mal die Spinnweben entfernt werden. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die bequeme Matratze und die schöne Lage.

The beds in our two rooms were not very comfortable. My son's room was quite small and the TV was just a small monitor. I have stayed at the Laimer Hof 5 times now, and this was our worst experience.

Nice Little Place, Just no Parking
I booked this hotel specifically because on Hotels.com it stated that it had parking. Well, they have 4 spots and they were all taken the whole time we were there. We had to park a distance away on the streets. At least there was no charge for street parking. Also, be aware there is no elevator. So be ready for stairs. The breakfast was lovely and all else was very nice.

if you like a room the size of a postage stamp this is your place! Shower was VERY small. No A/C (they had a standing fan in the room), went for Oktoberfest and they jacked up the prices $$$$. Breakfast was a joke - cold cereals and day old fruit/meats plus they charge 11 Euros!!! Insulting. When i complained i was told basically that is what it is take it or leave it. the Hôtel is not near much and in residential area, garbage trucks every morn at 7am. Don't waste your money here.

Here our feedback to your review: -Actually you got one of our biggest double rooms (around 16sqm) -Our showers have a regular size-It is correct we do not have a/c but a fan. -For Breakfast we offer a variety of cheese, sausage, pastries, bread, eggs, muesli, juices, tea, coffee etc etc. 12 per Person is a reasonable price. -Of course there is no garbage truck every moring. It comes once a week. -We recommend traveling to Munich outside of Oktoberfest to book at regular prices. We hope that we can convince you of our service next time. Staff was excellent. My arrival was delayed and staff went out of their way to ensure I was able to enter after hours conveniently. Breakfast was a huge hit, as well. Very quaint and comfortable place.

Great location. Clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. The only strike (and it is a big one) is the complete joke of a breakfast. All tables dirty, guests asking for towels to bus tables.l themselves. I arrived one hour before close and there was no water or milk. All food was gone. Dead wasp in the apple juice. Cold coffee. All tea -except weird flavors- was gone. I ended up eating cornflakes from a teacup with a fork. Too bad, because I left the hotel on such a down note. If I stay there again, I’d write off the breakfast and go to a cafe near the Palace.

It was within walking distance of public transportation. The property was farther from the city than I had hoped with limited dining options in the area. Though rooms in Europe are often small, these were tiny with very tiny bathrooms. When we’re arrived, our toilet did not flush and the desk clerk acted responded as if they knew. Maybe it was lost in translation. It was repaired while we were out in the city. The people were very pleasant and the breakfast was good.

While our 2-day visit coincided with a heat wave ( 90F), we were very disappointed in the hotel and its amenities. The rooms reminded me of a dormitory. Small/cramped, older, small bathrooms, no A/C in the hotel and the most minimal and un-amazing breakfast of our entire week-long tour thru Germany (not even English breakfast tea bags). The hotel was in a great location though, a short walk to Schloss Nymphenburg with its expansive gardens. But be prepared for lots of walking to and from.

Rooms are teeny tiny. They look nothing like the pictures. Can’t even open your suitcase (only on the bed) tiny tiny bathroom. No tub.

This hotel is at a perfect location. We walked to the palace grounds several times because it was so beautiful and accessible. The street was very quiet and the breakfast was delicious. Staff warm and helpful.

At first was put off by how small the room was. There were little things like a small cabinet in the bathroom that really helped. The room was very clean and the nice staff brought coffee to our room when we asked. Quiet pretty location and could walk to the train. Loved the windows that opened different ways to let fresh air in. Except room size very nice.

Tiny room. We were supposed to have a desk in the room to work from. Ended up having to sit on the bed and put the laptop on the window ledge to set it up as a mock table. Yes, the bed and window were that close together Even though we were received notification before we arrived that our room had been upgraded, there is no way this was an upgrade. We stayed here because it was close to family and friends. We won't be back and we won't recommend

Dear Holly, thank you for your review. We are very saddened that you could not enjoy your stay with us. Unfortunatley you have booked your room during the biggest traid fair of the year, the BAU. During that time every hotel in munich is fully booked and the the prices for the rooms are very high. If you had come to a different time, a room change would not have been a problem at all! We gurantee we can offer you a suitable room next time, if you give us another chance. Have a great dayTobias and Team
