“It was about what was expected. Check in was great. Person working the front was great. Was able to give suggestions on restaurants. As a hint to other quests, you sometimes need to ask for hot water before you hop in to the shower. Front desk needs to turn it on. ”

“We loved our time at the Gingerbread mansion. Oliva was an amazing host. Breakfast prepared each day was some of the best we have had. Snacks provided at tea time each day were also a big perk. “While this was a bit off the beaten path from our trip down 101, its absolutely worth the small diversion. This hotel is charming, accomodating, historic and pretty comfortable. The continental breakfast was also great. The town is absolutely charming and we wish we arrived for dinner and if it was just my wife and I, go to a few of the bars on the street. Also worth walking around to view the victorian homes and cemetery!”

“Gorgeous hotel!!! The front desk staff were excellent and the lobby area was beautiful, the restaurant was closed but the “small bites” offered by the front desk were delicious and very reasonably priced. The room was very clean. The only thing was that *every* flat surface in the rooms is wood….the nightstands, tables, console under the TV, floor…and sometimes drinks and ice buckets sweat, and there are no coasters or anything so there’s nowhere to set drinks that you don’t worry about...

“Clean, renovated room. Good breakfast. Very nice overnight stay. Front desk staff was very friendly and professional. Only issue was the old electrical outlets in the room that were loose and would not grip/hold the plug when you plug something in (like phone charger.) Phone charger would simply just fall back out of the outlet after you plug it in. These outlets should be addressed as soon as practicable. Other than that, very enjoyable stay. ”
