Super bummed to hear this. I didn’t hear from you for the duration of your stay, but if I had known I would have loved to make this right for you. I’m a bit taken back by your review as cleanliness is our top priority and one of our top compliments at every one of our cabins. The pictures also are from last year, but have not been updated to reflect the new furniture we put in; which in most cases would be a nice surprise. We also have had remote workers at our cabin who have raved about the internet. Our area is being upgraded to fiber currently so there could have been work being done that disrupted your service? We’ve never had an issue brought to our attention about wifi speed- especially for streaming. Also, we keep a full stock of supplies in the basement, if the pods were out I would have been happy to instruct you where to find more. We don’t use pods though, we use a box with dishwashing powder and that potentially was missed. Pods were likely left from a previous guest. The trash service is taken each week, I’m sorry you hit it at the wrong day. We have extra bins if ever needed, and we own the private dumpster at the end of the road. I would have gladly sent someone to dispose of those for you.

The security deposit was collected upon because you had more than 8 guests at our cabin that can only sleep a max of 8, your reservation- with no updates, said 3 guests, our cleaning staff arrived to clean and you had not checked out yet, and you had unaccounted for pets and did not pay a pet fee either. This is very clearly stated in our house rules as well. I explained all of this before I collected any money and did not hear anything back from you via VRBO, text message or phone call. The first I’m hearing from you is with this review. I wish you would have reached out about the internet not working, and the trouble with the upstairs power- I would have promptly addressed these issues for you. These are certainly things we would have helped fix for you. I’m glad to hear you otherwise enjoyed your stay.
