“We really enjoyed our two nights stay in this very charming guest house. Our room was clean and our bed was super comfy. The owner was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome in her home. ”

“My room was in the coach house, just outside tje doors of the main building. It was very clean with just baked biscuits and Tregothnan tea. A gorgeous view of the garden was welcoming on arrival.”

“The room was great, the staff very friendly but what was outstanding was the food, what a surprise it was, pub food is normally quite boring in my opinion but this was anything but. Pork belly mash and the most delicious red cabbage I've ever had and I've travelled a lot and eaten a lot in my travels, this was up there with the best. ”

“Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely Manor House. Jakes and Jane were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our room was very comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided in room daily were very welcomed after a day walking on the Moors. An amazing breakfast every morning which was delicious. Lovely and peaceful location with easy access to Dartmoor and Cornwall. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Very disappointing stay , We arrived after a 9 hour drive , when we arrived the cottage wasn’t cleaned and no bedding , We rang both Wayne and Karen , we decided to go buy some bedding , on route Karen did ring back to be fair and apologised saying she was told we was due on the 6th , (day of departure,) Went to the pub for an hour and Karen had the cottage ready , I thanked her by tx but no communications back , nothing from Wayne all week , I would of expected a follow up chat asking if...

“The place is spacious and cosy. There is a small playground where kids can spend their time.”

“Very spacious with every facility in the lodge that you need. The hot tub is fabulous and we were left a lovely bottle of Prosecco and chocolates alongside tea and coffee etc. The owners thought of everything. Would definitely recommend. ”

“Owl Barn was just beautiful - we loved the fact that the sheep wandered past the garden fence and the horses came close to be petted ! The view from the window was amazing and the Barn had everything we could possibly need - we would definitely recommend it and would be very happy to go back again ”
