“Great location. Great staff. Clean room. Good food”

“The room was very spacious. The staff was incredibly kind. Thimphu is small enough you can walk everywhere. If you do a hike or anything they’ll make you a “to go” box. My ONLY complaint is you can hear noises outside, but if you are a heavy sleeper it will be fine. Wonderful hotel.”

“We had a fantastic stay at Phuntsho Khangsar. It was a lovely spacious room with a beautiful location overlooking Thimpu City. We had the view of the famous Buddha statue straight from our balcony. The highlight of the place was the staff who were very warm and offered excellent service. Mr Tshering the Operations Manager was always ready to help. “The staff were generally friendly and helpful. But the condition of the hotel was not very good. The room was not especially nice or clean (coffee or tea stains on the wall, glasses in the room were not clean). Overall, not a great experience.”
