The owners were out, but a guest who stays there many times showed me around and introduced me to the other guests in the living room. I was so impressed with the decor and cozy environment. There was a fridge in the hallway where you can place your refrigerables in and you can tap into the free white wine A nice Keurig was present with a great selection to choose from. “Great staff. But, updates are definitely needed. No USB ports. Short staffed when it comes to housekeeping personnel. They need help. What I do like, is this Super 8’s location. Centrally located.”

“TERRIBLE hotel. The room smelled stuffy and moldy, and there was even mold in the shower. The hallways smelled heavily like cigarettes as well. We brought the issues up to the front desk, and they told us to email the manager. We ended up checking out early and staying somewhere else. After emailing the manager, nothing was done about the situation. I would not recommend this place, and I would never stay here again.”

“My stay at this hotel was absolutely horrendous. From the moment we walked in, the entire place smelled like wet cat and urine soaked into the carpet. Things only got worse from there. The elevator was broken, so we had to carry all of our luggage up the stairs ourselves. When we finally got to the room, it was filthy. There were holes in the bed sheets, crumbs all over the floor, and even a hole in the toilet seat. We found hair in the bed and crayon markings on lamp covers. To make matters...

“On street parking was extremely accessible and the caretakers did a fantastic job of making sure we had a spot right out front. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and other tractions in a less than 5-minute walk.”

“We stayed at Visitation during our son and DIL marriage in the Frederick courthouse- afterwards we reserved dinner at Wye Oak Tavern. The environment, presentation and superior taste of food made for a memorable evening. They treated us with a glass of complimentary champagne to celebrate our night and we never felt rushed to leave that evening. It was a special night and our stay at hotel was superb - rooms were immaculate and comfortable- hotel grounds were lovely to relax.”
