“We were very pleasantly surprised at the Ayres Hotel. The price is very reasonable and the hotel was really quite nice - especially for the price! The rooms were comfortable, clean and modern as was the rest of the hotel. The lobby and breakfast room were well appointed. And we were surprised to see that a cook was freshly making the scrambled eggs and pancakes for breakfast rather than just microwaving pre-cooked stuff. “Clean room, free Wi-Fi and good breakfast. I have stayed here a few times last couple of years and they didn't charge parking. I was a bit surprised by the $25/day charge. Other than that, I would definitely come back again.”

“They upsold my husband at the check-in with ocean view when I rebooked a partial ocean view room. We still got a side view of the ocean. It wasn’t worth the upsell. The jacuzzi automatically turned off when the timer stopped but then needed a break before the jets would work again. During the break, the water temp cooled down. And it wasn’t very hot in the first place. They offer no self parking. Strictly valet, which of course is expensive. And the propane for the fire pits was out or not...
