“I have to say the staff was so kind to help me with a luggage shipping issue, they called customer service to have it rerouted for me for a bag that wasn't even shipped by them or sent to them. It can be challenging in Japan to do things over the phone if you don't speak Japanese. I really appreciated the help! The property has amazing views of the city. A grand lobby. But the rooms have not been updated in recent decades. Our non smoking room had a faint odor of smoking, unfortunately. Thanks...

“This is a fantastically located 55 room property in Nagasaki! Located 5-10 minutes walk from the Atomic Bomb museum, peace park and the hypocenter. If you’re going further it’s a 3 minute walk to the “Atomic Bomb museum” tram stop and trams are a great way to see things in Nagasaki. The tram gets you close the Fuchi shrine ropeway station (10 min walk), Dejima (cross the street and Glover gardens. As much as I loved this property and its location what made it “top notch” for me was the staff....

“Hotel itself is great. All of the staff EXCEPT for the front check in desk are superb. The check in is misery there. They don’t honor any Hilton Honors benefits, say no to everything and to top it off, reception sent a letter to my room an hour after I checked in stating they undercharged us $5 so be prepared to pay that at checkout. A formal letter shoved in the door crack to collect this “debt” after being there less than an hour and refusing Hilton Honors benefits are enough reason for me to...
