La posizione è bellissima, direttamente sul mare ma purtroppo abbiamo avuto una serie disavventure che nn ci hanno fatto apprezzare la struttura. Arrivo al motel alle 8pm e il personale era già andato via a causa del cattivo tempo e non siamo riusciti a fare il check in costringendoci a trovare un'altra "sistemazione" per la notte. Il giorno seguente finalmente ci assegnano una camera ma non è delle migliori, cattivo odore e scarsa pulizia, senza contare che siamo rimasti senza corrente fino alle 5pm, sempre a causa della tempesta avvenuta il giorno prima. Obbiettivamente non lo consiglieremo....e attendiamo un rimborso della prima notte.

HORRIBLE - Dirty, pool closed off with yellow tape, satellite for TV not working, the Deluxe non-smoking room smelled like marijuana, and worst of all Expedia refused to refund our money after discussing all the problems and apparant false avertising for the place. SO DISAPPOINTED!

The location is great! Convenient to restaurants, shops etc. Excellent biking and walking paths. Staff were friendly . Overall, the hotel is very dated. Parking was poor. Room quite small with poor lighting. Bathroom had mold and shower was barely a dribble. I wouldn't recommend nor will we revisit this location on future trips to OBX.

Property is located within points of interest. All within walking distance. Property is older compared to more modern properties on the beach. Budget friendly hotel.

Was lied.to multiple times was told i would have a room with a bathtub and called.the propety directly and they promised it would be then said they were booked up and was not not locally owned and.does not care about guests at all !! Stay away !!

Price was good. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Noisy neighbor that I could hear through the wall until 12:30 AM. Noisy neighbor started yelling again at 7:00 AM. I really think he has mental challenges because he talked loud and angrily non stop. I never heard another voice, and he didn’t stop yelling long enough for anyone to get a word in edgewise. Reported to management.

Right next to the Nags Head Pier, so a great spot for fishermen to stay. Parking is crowded and clustered, and the place is old, so things aren't up to date, but they are well maintained.

This was the worst Inn I have ever stayed in from check in to dead bugs on there floors - long hairs left behind in the bathroom - a chair that looked like it came from the 50's and had been urinated on and smelled the same - I had lined the bed room with towels as to not walk on the floor in bare feet - had it been earlier we would have walked out of this Inn and looked down the road for better lodging - I am going to look into a refund!!!!

We heard a baby running from the room above us constantly and throughout the night, music at one point so loud and no live person in office to complain to. No cable even though advertised. Furniture was so outdated and sticky. I will say the best thing was the housekeeping, brought fresh towers and clean environment despite the sticky furniture. Bed was comfy if you could sleep. For the price, it was far too expensive. Avoid the apartments rooms or any rooms with 2nd floor above you and you might get some sleep.

The room was adequate. Check-n is via a kiosk, which I didn’t mind and thought went rather smoothly. However, the TV didn’t work (I later learned it was due to the recent tropical storm) and having nobody at the front desk made me shrug my shoulders and just say whatever. The printed information in the room stated to drop off keys at the front desk upon departure , which I did. At that time a gentleman was sitting behind the desk , but he didn’t say anything you me or acknowledge me. I vacated the rink and was surprised to (hours later ) receive a call from someone at the hotel asking if I had checked out . I told her I had checked our four hours ago and left my keys at the front desk. It just feels as though no one person really cares about your experience there . Which is fine if you know that up front.

It is located oceanfront but no view from any rooms due to the dunes. Pier is right next to the hotel. Parking ok & free. Room had essentials & was clean. I can't say much more than that. It was quiet & safe.

Nice place!
We stayed at the Colonial Inn Motel last year. It was nice and was central to everything. When we decided to go to the Outer Banks this year, we didn't consider staying anywhere else. Everything was clean and we had a small refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave. The bed was comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is that they put one upholstered chair in the room instead of just a kitchen type chair. We would stay here again.

Motel is older establishment so decades of weathering from the continuous ocean's effect and storms, so this is a common sense review. Motel has average-good upkeep. Double room/w kitchen was spacious & quiet on ground level, no handrail at steps. Table w/4 chairs/small sofa/chair/ottoman/small table/dresser/closet w/hangers, 2 luggage racks/TV with HBO. Quality, clean, abundant towels. Comfortable beds/bedding. Bathroom spacious-vanity/shower stall/lotion, soap & shampoo dispensers. Windows in each room w/blind or room darkening curtains. Kitchen stocked w/few dishes/utensils, pots/pans, coffee/tea individual-not coffee maker. Gas oven burners have to be lit, lighter supplied (top was scorched). Full size refrigerator clean inside but needed cleaning on top. Dish soap dispenser. Additional charge if you leave dirty dishes. Benches/chairs/grills/outdoor pool/walkways. Sitting area to view beach and beach access. Pier close. Limited/TIGHT parking. Floors in room appeared to have been swept but not damp mopped cleaned. Outside area and trash can area especially needs to sprayed for fly control! Check in-Kiosk but no problems. Didn't have contact with any property staff during our stay, assume hard working cleaning staff allowed limited time to clean each room like most hotels. Area seems safe. Room was good value for the amount paid, especially for OBX. Would stay again.
