The location was amazing and it was such a cute little building. Literally right across the street from the beach. We were able to check in early and when we had trouble getting our door code to work, they were able to help us right away when we called. The only main issue we had was that the bedding was extremely stained. We had to go to Target and get new bedding to sleep on because it was that bad. Also, the hand soap dispenser in the bathroom didn’t work. However, it was a great price for being so close to the ocean.

Fantastic room! Great for couples! Fans and air-conditioning kept the room nice and cool. Shower was amazing. Everything was very clean! Cons- There are no hooks in the bathroom sink area to hang your hand towels. There was only a small square table right next to the toilet, where you could put your items and the hand towels, which was very awkward. The bed was just okay; it was sinking in the middle. Other than that, very quiet and amazing location to the beach! It had a mini fridge in the room, and there was a microwave in the common area by the entrance. Definitely recommend!!

It was a birthday weekend getaway close to the beach and to decompress from work life it was a nice spot to get away too.

There was no way the room was cleaned, sand under the duvet, flat sheet and fitted sheet, suspicious old looking blood stains on the duvet and sheets, eye lashes on the floor,little curly hairs everywhere, we have shoulder length brown hair and my husband is a red head...light fixture above the shower head had exposed wires,and finally behind the toilet looks like it had a rust blow out..yes we have pictures..10/10 would not recommend, not worth the money, we left at 10:48 pm and came home..

Enjoyed it

Walk across the street to the public beach access. Next to an ice cream parlor. Nice place for people wanting an old school hotel and not the holiday in express. Good parking. Enjoyed the trip back in time.

I have stayed @ the Naggs Head Inn for the last 5 years & I’m not coming back unless they go back to the way they were. The room was a security risk @ best. When I checked windows @ bedtime the window was unlatched on one side & other latch was broken off. I used the toilet plunger to wedge the window closed for safekeeping & windows were filthy. The Table is broken & when used it would fall off pedestal. The Bed posts were also broken and would fall apart from the frame. The Hair dryer in Bathroom wasn’t mounted just sitting on a glass round table in the bathroom so when I used it I had to plug into wall by the sink & let Dryer sit in bottom of sink cause there wasn’t anywhere else it could be if I used in front of mirror. We stayed 2 days and the room wasn’t cleaned the second day & we had no clean towels. So I called the 800 number on the online invoice & spent 30 minutes on phone which was a complete waste of time because the Towels were Never Delivered to room. So we used towels from prior day. The Bathroom door wouldn’t Close & had No Locks or latches to hold shut. Kees had let this Property go to Ruins. The first couple of years I wrote Great Reviews for this Property & now they Totally Stopped Caring about Customer Service at a Level unheard of. Fix your Hotel & let us know you did or We will set foot in it ever again. Worst Experience in a Hotel of mine & my Wife’s entire Life. Do Better ASAP! We stayed in room 3.

This property is a bit outdated, but the room is reasonably clean - the bathroom floors are sticky. Need an extra bedside table and a coffee table.

They have definitely done some work. Though the general age of the place shows it was still comfortable and clean and we will definitely stay again. They had 2 beautiful sitting areas in the lobby along with an outside area. Check-in and Check-Out was simple and easy.

I asked to check in earlier as I was inside the property however I was told via phone that House keeping was still making rounds so I sat in the lobby waiting & no house keeping was in site. Overall, the place was nice.

The property was close to the beach. But the house keeping was terrible. The room looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. The dust on the fans was really bad and the shower had hair and what appeared to be mold and something smeared all over the walls. I definitely will not stay there again.

It’s a great location with easy access to the beach. Nice accommodations. The shower gel needs to be refilled and the ceiling in the shower room should be cleaned. Their are red splatters all over.

I’ve stay here twice. It is a perfect couples romantic getaway. Our only issue was our tv remote volume didn’t work properly. It was never fixed during our stay. Since there is no one on site at all times there is a possibility if something comes up they may not correct it in a timely manner.
