Vieni "Down South"! 3br / 2ba, a pochi passi dall'oceano, splendide viste sul tramonto

Goditi il tuo caffè mattutino o gli splendidi tramonti serali sul grande ponte avvolgente o sul portico di questo cottage 3BR / 2BA. Nuovi materassi nelle camere da letto al piano superiore nel 2018. Amerai la vista del suono e osserverai le barche entrare e uscire dalla vista non ostruita della Riserva di Servizio del Parco Nazionale. Questo cottage è completamente rifornito con le necessità di cucina e nuovi elettrodomestici nel 2018 per cucinare qualsiasi pasto desiderato. Ampio cortile, strada privata e un sacco di spazio sotto casa, tra cui una zona speciale per la pulizia del pesce, che si trova in una strada tranquilla. Nuovo schierandosi sul lato ovest e sud del cottage!

Situato al Mile Post 21, a pochi passi dalla spiaggia. Alla linea sud della città di S. Nags Head e poi altre 5 miglia di spiaggia naturale da esplorare con grandi dune e nessuna casa che termina a Oregon Inlet. Un chilometro e mezzo a sud ti porta alla Bodie Island Light House che puoi salire fino in cima e ammirare l'intera isola o camminare verso il suono per una pesca con il suono posteriore. Il centro di pesca Oregon Inlet si trova a sole 4 miglia più a sud, dove puoi noleggiare un viaggio per te stesso o vedere il pescato pomeridiano dalle barche charter. Dirigendosi in direzione opposta, si trova a breve distanza in auto dal Nags Head Fishing Pier e dal Fish Heads Bar & Grille. A pochi chilometri più lontano è negozi e ristoranti. A pochi chilometri di distanza è possibile visitare l'Acquario di Manteo o il Wright Brother's Memorial e Jockey's Ridge.

This property is our home away from home at the beach, always comfortable and relaxing. Probably the most well stocked kitchen we’ve seen of all the places we’ve ever stayed - we cooked all sorts of things during the week. Quiet neighborhood, but close to most everything. This time, we found Coquina Beach, about a three minute drive to the south on Rt. 12 - also pretty quiet. Laurie is a very responsive host and has always kept us informed about and during our stays.

Property was just as described. Great location. Property owner is quick to respond. Close to beach access and fishing access. It is warmer on the 2nd floor so I would recommend a portable a/c for the warmer months. Would definitely rent again.

Communication with owner before we arrived was easy and quick. Check-in was easy and we enjoyed the location which is a backyard and street away from the ocean. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and convenient to going either north or south on the Outer Banks. We enjoyed our time at "Down South". We did not realize we needed to bring our own sheets and towels. We stopped at a thrift store in Kitty Hawk on the way down and bought some. We left them behind in hopes that someone else will be able to use them in the future. Since we were flying from other locations and not coming from our home bringing sheets and towels was not possible. The thrift store seemed to be a good source for them.

Despite Hurricane Debbie tagging along for most of our Nags Head vacation, we had a great stay at "Down South." Laurie was a fantastic host. Extremely helpful and thoughtful. The house and deck were actually more spacious than I was expecting, and easy to settle in to. Gorgeous views from the back deck, and as other visitors have mentioned, accessing the beach is really convenient. The beach itself seemed a little narrow on that part of the island, but I suspect the storm surge was a contributing factor. That said, Coquina Beach is just a 5 minute drive further south and definitely worth checking out. O'Neils Seafood on Wanchese is also worth a short excursion. Thanks for a great beach week Laurie!

We had a pleasant stay with an easy, short walk to the beach. There was salt and pepper, dishwasher pods, dish soap, kitchen sponges, and coffee filters available, which was nice. You need to remember toilet paper and paper towels. The listing might have mentioned all that, but I figured it out after we arrived . We would be happy to stay again. Thank you , Laurie!

This was our fourth stay at Down South. It’s always comfortable and relaxing, with lots of space in and out to cook, enjoy meals with family, read, play games and get some sun. The screen porch and deck are great, beach is a quick walk, neighborhood is quiet and stores and attractions are nearby. Couldn’t ask for more!

It's always a shot in the dark when booking onlone, just as it's a delight when property is so much better than you could have imagined. Down South is absolutely comfortable, with even beach reading mags and books stashd ere and there. The back view is serenely glorious and the neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. The host is gracious and easy to communicate with. We're already planning our next stay.

The back deck faced the most beautiful sunsets, comfy deck chairs on spacious deck. EVERYTHING is close, restaurants, markets, gas, shopping, etc. Hubby has a huge amount of fishing equipment to lug to the beach, it was an easy walk, no dunes, all pavement, but we did cheat and cut through 2 vacant houses in front of us, made it a shorter walk. Owner was super quick to respond to my stupid questions, we will stay here again. OH! Mini Cornhole was so fun playing in the living room when it rained!!!
