Benvenuti nella nostra casa lontano da casa - una residenza di lusso di 1200 metri quadrati confinante con il parco provinciale di Rathtrevor (con ettari di foreste antiche e chilometri di sentieri da esplorare). Siamo stati impegnati nell'aggiornamento di questa proprietà e sappiamo che apprezzerete la costa occidentale, l'arredamento di metà secolo e l'arredamento di qualità e le lenzuola in tutto. La nostra casa dispone di letti estremamente comodi (2 regine e 1 matrimoniale) e lenzuola nuove di alta qualità. Le porte del giardino si aprono su un grande patio piastrellato e uno spazio verde delimitato da alberi sempreverdi e corbezzoli attraverso il quale è possibile scorgere le acque oceaniche di Craig Bay e il rettilineo della Georgia. Stunning Rathtrevor Beach, a 3 minuti a piedi lungo la strada è uno dei migliori in Canada. Goditi chilometri di belle spiagge sabbiose e poco profonde, offrendo un delizioso parco acquatico caldo e un'esperienza da spiaggia per i "bambini" di tutte le età. Godetevi una moltitudine di opportunità ricreative a pochi passi di distanza, tra cui tennis, mini-golf, ristoranti, centri benessere, piscine e negozi.

Internet Wifi, rete fissa per chiamate locali, TV, DVD, puzzle, giochi e alcuni romanzi selezionati; così come una lavatrice / asciugatrice / asciugacapelli sono forniti per la vostra convenienza. Imballare il nostro carro pieghevole con sdraio e asciugamani da spiaggia e dirigersi verso la spiaggia di Rathtrevor, a pochi passi lungo la strada asfaltata della proprietà (lieve declino).

We stayed at Carol's vacation rental in June 2025. The location was amazing with great access to the beach and driving distance to loads of child friendly activities. The property was immaculate and extremely well appointed. We enjoyed relaxing on the back patio. The beds were comfortable and the condo was modern with high-end finishings. The condo is a short walk to the Rathtreaver Beach and the Black Goose Pub.

We had a wonderful time staying at Carol and Terry’s place. The rooms were very comfortable and the unit fit our party of six (three generations) perfectly. We loved the green space outside for the kids to play and the adults to lounge. The kitchen and BBQ were gourmet. The beach access was easy and so close. Thanks for a great holiday!

Condo was immaculate and wonderfully located at one of our favourite spots on Vancouver Island. Wonderful walks, great weather, outstanding pubs, restaurants and bistros. Great shopping close by and a kitchen that was fully equipped and great appliances for home cooking and or barbecuing on scenic patio! We all felt very lucky to have found such a treasure and look forward to returning.

Close walking access to the beach. Lots of local hiking in the area. Property clean and well equipped! Disappointed that there is not actual pool or hot tub access as indicated in the listing. There is an option at a neighboring resort complex but you must pay a drop in fee. I would suggest the listing be updated to reflect this in order to limit disappointment for families.

We stayed in this modern clean retreat home that was very spacious for six adults and one child. Very well equipped with plenty of everything. Carol was extremely helpful and answered quickly if we didn’t understand something. The beach was cool at low tide and walked out for a long ways. Lots of stuff to see and visit close by. What a beautiful place to stay! The property is modern, clean, well-stocked and feels luxurious. The location is fabulous - we appreciated the proximity of the forest that borders the property. Although the beach was close, to our surprise the grassy area right out back was a huge hit with our kids - a real bonus for families. We would certainly recommend this place to others and would definitely return.

I would give 11 out of 10 for our experience. The place was well equipped and we can tell that the host put a lot of thoughts to give the guests their best experience. We have stayed in a number of vacation homes in Parksville and this stands out to be the best. Location is within few minutes walk to the beach. Carol was very kind and took the time in answering all our questions.

The unit is stylishly decorated with original pieces and local artwork. It is immaculately clean, well stocked and maintained. The attention to detail is exceptional. Every need has been anticipated and provided for, including custom handmade soap, and gear for the beach. Responsive, generous hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and that enjoyment. Would highly recommend and book again. The entire experience exceeded expectations.

From the minute we walked in the door, we loved our stay! The beds were super comfortable, we had loads of space, were less than 5 minutes walk from the water, and Carol was available the whole time we were there just in case we needed anything. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Very elegant property with a view to a huge yard that made meals very relaxing. Very well stocked, there was everything we needed for 4 adults, games, magazines, plenty of towels, beach stuff, utensils, kitchen stuff, you name it. Super close to the beach, its among the best properties in the Tanglewood. I would definitely want to stay here again. Everyone in my family of 4 adults enjoyed it.

This vacation home was perfect for our family vacation. The apartment is one of the best equipped vacation homes we stayed at, with high end amenities, an impressive selection of spices and kitchen utensils, and much more. It was spot clean and the decor was beautiful. The location is very convenient, only steps away from Rathtrevor Beach. Beach chairs, a wagon, sand toys, and much more are provided by the hosts and made the beach stay even more fun. Carol was a wonderful host and we would definitely stay at her vacation home again.

Everything was amazing! Our trip to Vancouver Island was everything our family needed for spring break. Carol was super helpful from booking to check out and the Tanglewood property was a piece of beachside paradise! The condo is perfect, well organized with amenities of home and comfortable! Beds were comfiest I have slept in which was needed after spending 4 days beachcombing and exploring the oceanside. It was hard to leave but we will return for sure! Thank you Carol - top notch!!

We had an amazing stay. The location of this property is absolutely perfect. The beach was great, the accommodations were beyond expectations (absolutely everything was there to make our stay great) and I would definitely recommend this place to everybody.
