Welcome to Wake House — a true floating home experience on Lake Cumberland with something that’s hard to find anywhere else: direct dock + boat access right on the water, plus a boat ramp next door for easy launch days. With room for up to 20 guests, this is the ideal home base for lake weekends, group trips, and family gatherings where being on the water isn’t just the view — it’s the whole point.

Guests have the entire place, access to the shared dock/walkways that connect the floating homes, and a boat slip included so you can tie up and get straight into lake mode. A golf cart shuttle makes arrival and departures easy, and full-time security/shuttle support is available on-site if anything comes up.

Pets are welcome, and we do observe quiet hours from midnight–8am to keep the community comfortable for everyone.

Wake House is a floating home designed for big groups who want maximum time on the water with minimal hassle. You’ll be staying right on Lake Cumberland, with the ability to step out, access the dock system, and tie up at the property.

Arrival note: You’ll park in a large parking lot, then use the golf cart shuttle to get you and your luggage to the floating home.

Wake House sits on Lake Cumberland in a unique floating-home community setting. The vibe is a mix: it can feel peaceful and relaxing when you want downtime, but it’s also perfect for lake-day energy with boating, groups, and shared dock access nearby. You get the best of both worlds: easy access to the action, with community expectations that keep nights calm.



Getting Around:

Parking: Large parking lot available

Getting to the home: A golf cart shuttle runs between the parking area and the floating homes

On the lake: Once you’re settled, many guests spend most of their time on the dock and by boat. There are plenty of restaurants on the lake to explore!



Other Things to Note:

1. Smoking, drug, and vape use is not allowed inside the unit, on the balcony, or in the hallways of the building. There is a $1000 fine if discovered.

2. Parties are not allowed in this property, including loud music. There is a fee of $2000 if a party is discovered or if a neighbor complains about excessive noise. Quiet Hours: 12am - 8am.

3. Pets must be disclosed and approved in advance if permitted. There is an extra one-time fee per pet per stay. The extra cleaning fee per pet is based on the number of nights of your stay: 1-2 nights: $100; 3-6 nights: $150; 7-29 nights: $250; 30+ nights: $300/mo.

4. If an excessive mess is discovered after your stay, you will be charged accordingly on top of the standard cleaning fee. You will be charged for stained or damaged sheet/towels

5. A lost, missing, or damaged key has a replacement cost of $250 each. If their is a lockout scenario, then there is a $100 lockout fee charged.

6. Late check-out at is $30/hr. Subject to approval and must be notified in advance.

7. Early check-in before 4pm is $30 per hour.

8. You will be charged for any missing or damaged items.

9. There is a $99 fee per guest per night for undeclared guests over the capacity on the listing.

10. Any cleaning issues must be reported within a reasonable time of check-in so that we can help resolve any issues you may have.

11. We do not allow packages/mail to be sent to the address you’re staying at. You may deliver items to the door, or to a local FedEx/UPS. We cannot help you to retrieve the delivered mail.

12. Respectful and friendly vocabulary is required by both parties. Your reservation will be canceled with no refund if you use profanity or threaten any of our staff.

13. You are booking with a valid government-issued ID and are not engaging in fraud or identity theft.

14. There may be security cameras on the exterior of the property. Blocking or disconnecting this device will lead to the immediate termination of your stay with no refund.

15. By booking you agree to not hold us liable for any injuries, lost items, or accidents that happen at the property whether in the inside or outside areas.



Interaction with Guests:

Wake House offers self check-in for a smooth arrival. If you need anything during your stay, there is full-time security/shuttle support available on-site, and we’re also reachable by message for questions before or during your trip.
