George Rothwell, a Napa Valley icon, owns the entire home with includes your private apartment, and will be happy to share his extensive knowledge of the area. Originally from New Jersey, George and his late wife, Alice, were proprietors of Antique Fair in Yountville for some 20 years before retiring to the south of Napa. George founded Festival of Lights, held in Yountville each holiday season, the famed Napa Valley Mustard Festival, held From January through March, celebrating food, wine, and art and bringing International publicity to winter in Napa Valley, for 16 years. George was instrumental in pushing a measure to fund a mammoth flood control project that now prevents flooding in Downtown Napa and other areas affected by the Napa River during heavy rains. George is a trumpet player and surrounds himself with fellow musicians, artists, longtime friends, and family.
