Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Disappointed

Mold in washer machine. Dryer malfunctioned. Roof leaked when it rained. Mold in master bathroom shower. Outside shower caused rash. Cobwebs all over pool roof. AC filters were dirty. It is too bad as it could be a beautiful house but it has been neglected. We had to adjust the freezer to -4 to keep things cold and stop water leaking on floor. We made it all work by cleaning ourselves but this house was not as advertised. If clean it could be a beautiful house and Briarwood is great.

Nice house, layout….poorly maintained

We have rented this house the last two years. We will not be renting again, this house or through VACASA. We loved the location, community and layout of the house. But, the inside of house has been neglected, with several issues of lack of maintenance, repairs and cleanliness. We pointed out a list of issues after last year’s stay, some of those were not addressed, and others emerged. The transition from VRBO to VACASA between our stays was not seamless. VACASA responsiveness, both in advance of our stay and with issues during our stay, was mixed, initially very quick to respond but mixed results with timely resolutions. In the future we will look at renting a home with a direct contact with the owners, and hopefully a simpler process and more satisfying experience.
