Il South Bunk è uno dei nostri 4 case vacanze PET FRIENDLY! Questa unità off-grid unica e appartata si trova nella nostra riserva naturale vicino all'anatra muta e alla fattoria dei polli (non rumorosa). Completamente autosufficiente, comprende l'infrastruttura più avanzata, utilizzando la natura ma non abusando di essa. La South bunk House può ospitare da 5 a 12 persone e dispone di una cucina completamente attrezzata con un doppio fornello a gas, un grande forno a microonde, un frigorifero / freezer affiancato con ice maker e lavastoviglie, tavolo da pranzo per 8 persone. La zona salotto al piano principale dispone di 4 divani letti singoli che si aprono in ulteriori posti letto. Al secondo piano c'è una camera da letto privata che può essere impostato con 3 letti singoli o 1 letto matrimoniale e 1 letto singolo. Anche nella camera da letto privata è un divano letto a due dimensioni. La camera da letto spazio comune ha uno spazio di lavoro in ufficio con 2 letti singoli che possono essere uniti per fare 1 letto king size. La zona salotto al secondo piano ha un divano letto matrimoniale e una porta scorrevole in vetro che conduce ad un balcone di un secondo piano con una splendida vista della nostra riserva naturale.

BAGNI Ci sono due bagni a grandezza naturale, uno per piano. Il bagno al primo piano ha un box doccia e una lavatrice, asciugatrice frontale ad alta capacità. Il bagno al secondo piano ha una vasca idromassaggio completa con sauna a vapore e doccia a cascata.

Questa proprietà si trova nella posizione ideale per schiarirsi le idee e lasciarsi alle spalle le preoccupazioni. Fai piacevoli passeggiate nella proprietà di 30 acri e rimettiti in contatto con Madre Natura! Per altre avventure all'aria aperta, guida 6 minuti per il parco di Grimes Glen. Il parco di 32 acri vanta una serie di sentieri escursionistici, buche per il nuoto e 2 cascate imponenti!

A Finger Lakes Idyll

Our family group of 7 stayed for a week in the South Bunkhouse. We had a blast! Our youngest (6 and 4) especially enjoyed walking on the trails and pathways greeting the ducks and chickens, toads and frogs, and having snacks at the trail picnic tables! Our host even provided some duck and chicken eggs for our enjoyment - yummy! Golf was close by in Naples for our golfers, and Great-Grandma's house on Loon Lake was a short drive away for some lake adventures. We'll be back!

Short winter getaway

The bunkhouse is beautiful, warm and inviting! We very much enjoyed ourselves, being lazy, playing games, doing puzzles, eating and laughing!!! Owner, Ed very accommodating and responsive to our questions, kind, and funny!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!

Escape into Nature

It was wonderful to spend 4 days in this natural Shangra-La. Here, you are well placed to explore the Finger Lakes district in several directions, only you may not wish to leave the grounds! There are several trails though the woods to walk on. It is quiet here, and the air is so clean. You are supplied with everything that you will need to keep your stay comfortable. We stayed at the South Bunkhouse. We took many fine memories home with us and it was good to know that since this really is a green site- we know that we only left gentle footprints. Thanks Ed!

Beautiful and unique property!

This place was gorgeous and also well stocked with necessities! It was easy to get it and check out as well. The rental is on a private lot with small trails in the woods and around a lake. They also have ducks on the land, but they are friendly and won’t bother you at all. The rental is a few minutes from Naples that has cute stores and restaurants, but it is also worth finding other places to see the natural beauty in the area, like Watkins Glen and Lake Canandaigua. The only thing that was an issue for us was that we came during a heat wave and there is no air conditioning as it is an eco-friendly establishment. There are plenty of fans and we were comfortable enough with them. It’s just worth noting in case you are someone who feels they need that.

Unique and well kept property

Spacious and comfortable house. Surrounding property was very unique and a great place to explore. All the amenities we needed (towels, soap, coffee, etc) were there to just walk in and relax! It’s clear the owner (and care takers) take pride in the property and grounds.

Beautiful property and a great host

This property is a reflection of the owner and how he lives his values and principles. We had a great time and a nice break from our working lives. Ed was available to answer any questions and is an interesting guy to speak with. We will likely return.

A slice of heaven in the woods for our wedding weekend

The weather was perfect and every part of Shangri-la was relaxing and enjoyed by us and our guests (including our furry family members.) Ed was super responsive and accommodating from the day we booked and throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything including the homes and grounds are meticulously cared for and it shows. I loved the nature paths connecting the homes, the birds and little animals and ducks roaming around, and especially sitting near the pond to relax and soak in the beauty. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pits making s’mores. It was a slice of heaven in the woods. I’m so grateful we chose to spend our long weekend here with friends and family. Definitely check out the Neapolitan wood fire pizza place and the farmers market 5 into 5min away in town and Grimes Glen was another natural beauty to enjoy.

Wonderful weekend near Naples

My husband and I stayed at Shangri-la with our three children ages 9, 6 and 3. The house was spacious, clean and well equipped. We enjoyed walking on the trails and having camp fires. We will definitely return.

February Recess

3 moms, 9 kids and a dog. We had a blast in the beautiful home and enjoyed the location so much. If you like nature this is where you need to stay. We didn't even have to drive anywhere to go on a hike/nature walk. 10/10 Will book again.

Clean, equipped, and peaceful

We stayed at Shangri-La for Thanksgiving during the pandemic to get away from home and also keep our distance from others. The South Bunk House met all of our needs: a well-equipped kitchen, clean and spacious living area, and the ability to take in the outdoors privately. Plus, Ed was very kind. We'd like to return.

Girls trip

The house and property were perfect! Every single appliance and piece of furniture was the best of the best. It was so beautiful. We walked the trails in the morning which were kept immaculate and saw wild life.

Absolutely 5 stars!

Read no further because you won't find a better property or a better management team in this area. Place was perfect, it was secluded, peaceful, and had all the comforts of home. Top notch cable and internet service for the kids, too. The owner is not so much in the rental business as he is in the "people pleasing" business. We will be going back here for sure! Naples is a great little village just 10 minutes away.

Fabulous wonderful joyful and so much more!!

We decided late on staying at a house for my daughter’s wedding. Late as in the night before. Ed is simply the kindest most generous and welcoming host ever. He bent over backwards to accommodate us. He was so friendly and welcoming. Best host ever. The house was amazing and with 6 of us super comfortable. And with 2 dogs plenty of space! The bathroom with steam and jacuzzi was amazing.!! The area is breathtaking!!! And the Mcculvoy ducks and “Larry” the goose were delightful!!! We couldn’t have picked a better place to add to the joy of our daughter’s wedding. Thank you thank you thank you Ed!!

A poor way to start a vacation. The owner met us in a tirade of anger.

Good property with a poor host. I was met with an angry owner who said we should have emailed him our time of arrival. When I told him that I called the week before to confirm our reserve and if there was something I should expect when I arrived, He told me I hadn't called and that I was a lire. We checked in at about 7:30 pm, well withing the advertised arrival times. There was an 'OPEN' sign lit up. In his rage he said we were lucky there was someone that would be there to sign us in. I had to turn the sign-in over to my son because I really felt like kicking the owner's spiny ass. This ruined my entire vacation and I wouldn't recommend the 'Sham' ri la to anyone.

Great house, locale and service

Ed and the others were all very welcoming and helpful. They obviously care about making the stay a good experience for guests. The house seems new and is _very well_ equipped. We particularly liked the giant bathtub/sauna. The woods and pond on the property are lovely. The valley around Naples is beautiful countryside. All in all a great stay.

Everything we had hoped for!

We rented for a weekend ski trip/New Years eve and couldn’t be happier with the choice! Between the sleeping arrangements (11 of us) to the eat in kitchen to the steam shower and the grounds; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and when we encountered a minor hiccup, Patrick and Ed were at the door in 15 minutes to help us out. We had a great time and would go back in a heartbeat; and probably will!
