"The Quiet Spot" say's it all
Our stay at the Quiet Spot" was amazing. So many places to visit around the area. Surrounded by waterfalls and lakes, they give us an opportunity for pleasant drives. The house is wonderfully enchanted with trees set all around on a huge piece of land. Our hosts, Mindy and Steve have bird feeders and suet around the house for us to bird watch. We were lucky to see a woodpecker, bluejay and a chimney swift at the feeders. We watched a family of wild turkeys pass through the lawn to another path, and a deer poked his head out of the woods! And we must not forget the outside house chipmunk. A wonderful place to stay!

Relaxing
We stayed for the weekend and enjoyed the grape festival. Cabin is exactly as described, even better, quiet and peaceful. We cannot say enough about the cleanliness, comfort, and appreciated the extras that were available. Communication with the host was excellent. We cannot wait to go back!

Super Naples location!
This cabin is truly "The Quiet Spot." The area is peaceful and quiet, and the property is beautiful, cozy and incredibly neat and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and essential spices. The cabin is within easy traveling distance to wineries, parks and an outdoor market. Joseph's Wayside Market is just a three-minute drive up the road. It offers fresh produce, homemade baked goods and hand-crafted soaps and lotions. About ten minutes away is Wesley Nature Preserve, an awesome place to hike. We hiked the entire trail, about a six-mile loop. We truly enjoyed every quiet moment and looking out the window in the morning and seeing the Palomino horse in the pasture. Highly recommended and would definitely go back!

The Quiet Spot
We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to enjoy a vacation. The house was wonderful. The town of Naples was adorable. Our hosts were great. We will definitely be coming back!

Lives up to its name
Thank you for a wonderful stay. The property was exactly as described, very clean, quiet, and relaxing. The hosts were great at communicating and left small touches (chocolates in the candy dish and an extra fire starter) to make our stay even better. Highly recommend staying here. All the amenities and lots of peace and quiet. It was enjoyable watching the birds visiting the bird feeder too!

The quiet spot
We stayed here for a wedding at the wrens roost barn and it was very pleasant! The place was a lot more spacious than anticipated and very clean. Mindy was very sweet and helpful and the location was only 5 minutes from the wedding venue.

Absolutely lovely
We spent a few relaxing days at The Quiet Spot before driving to Ithaca to move our son into the dorms at Cornell. After a busy summer and before the chaos of dorm move-in, it was the perfect place to pause for a bit. We enjoyed all the birds and entertaining squirrels as well as family bonding time with s’mores by the firepit and board games. We also enjoyed hiking at the Nature Center, the beach at Onanda Park, and some wineries (our teens especially liked the grape juice tasting at Arbor Hill.) Mindy was so friendly and super responsive; she even mailed a small item we left behind to our home. Very highly recommended!

Just perfect!
Rented simply because of its proximity to son & grandson in Fairport and the fact that it had beds for everyone. We had an unexpectedly great week. Well equipped with towels, blankets, and ample electrical outlets. Grill and good kitchen made meal prep easy. Swam, shopped, hiked, played in the yard and roasted marshmallows. Worth another visit.

Great location & relaxing cabin!
From the communication to the cleanliness of the cabin to the location, we truly enjoyed our stay! Close enough to visit Canandaigua Lake and Keuka Lake, we were able to visit wineries and great restaurants while enjoying the serene comfort of the cabin which was spacious, well-stocked for when we did cook and surrounded by relaxing nature. We recommend staying here and look forward to returning! Thank you!

Second time back.
This was our second trip back to the Quiet Spot. Like our first trip we had a wonderful time! The house and property are well maintained! Steve and Mindy are close by if you need anything. Naples has so much to offer. Nice Restaurants, Wineries, shopping, and great hiking trails! We plan to come back on a yearly basis.

Relaxing vacation
The house is very clean and cozy. The area is quiet and relaxing. The wifi is great. Loved watching all the different birds at the feeders and feeding Champ the horse across the street apples and carrots. Melinda is a great host you can get in touch with at any time. We took our son there for his birthday. When we arrived Melinda left a note on the front door wishing him a happy birthday. We thought that was very thoughtful and sweet. We would definitely vacation here again.

Wedding Week
With lots of family traveling to or already in the area for our wedding, my now husband and I needed a quiet oasis to escape to during our downtime of wedding week. We knew the cabin would be just the place as we stayed there in 2021. Mindy left her personal touches and made us feel so special as bride and groom. She even allowed my bridesmaids and I to use the cabin as our “get ready” spot for my wedding. All of the girls remarked at how beautiful the cabin is! It is super clean, relaxing, and you definitely don’t need to turn on the television with all of the birds to watch! Mindy is a very communicative host. We highly recommend!

Peace in the woods
We absolutely loved staying at The Quiet Spot. The property was exactly what we needed for a few days away. The cabin is well appointed and spotless. We enjoyed all the different birds (and we're not even bird people). The area is a perfect location...a quick drive to wineries, hiking, restaurants and shops. The owners are great with addressing any needs/communication, but still give you your space. We will definitely be staying here next time we are in the area.

The Quiet Pl., Truly lived up to its name!
It was truly a quiet weekend for my wife and I exclamation points. The fact that we got to watch all different species of birds throughout our entire stay was truly enjoyable. We were able to go into Naples and dine at some of their restaurants and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast sandwich at the old school café! We would definitely return as our hosts were exceptional!!

Perfect family getaway
We stayed here with our 3 young children as a mini getaway and to do some skiing nearby. We found the home to be very cozy, clean, and welcoming for our two night stay. The owners were lovely to work with and thought of every detail in the home! We thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness of the property and how it helped us to slow down and enjoy each other’s company. Highly recommend this home!

Nice property and quiet. Very close to granddaughters wedding venue--very convenient to get items needed. Loved that Mindy left us a grape pie upon arrival. We think it would be great if there was a recliner in living room. We had trouble finding local channels on TV-we're not tech savvy. Beds upstairs probably okay for kids but adults could feel slats-maybe a thicker mattress. We did a lot of cooking so some nonstick pans would of helped with clean up. We did enjoy our stay much better than a hotel.

Best Vacation Rental Ever
Mindy and Steve took care of every detail to make the stay comfortable and welcoming. Lights were on throughout on our arrival so we would not be entering a strange house in the dark and every request we made of the hosts was willingly granted. Chose the Quiet Spot because of proximity to family members, plenty of room to comfortably accommodate 4 other family members for a reunion dinner snd the fire pit allowed for a memorable end to the evening. This is at least the 5th vacation rental we have done in the last 3 years and The Quiet Spot is the best hands down, cannot wait to return.

The "Best Spot"
The "Quiet Spot" was everything I wanted it to be! The cabin itself was wonderful: clean, bright, fun to stay in. The surrounding land was peaceful, just right! MIndy and Steve have birdfeeders about the outside of the house. The hummingbirds were spectacular! I would definitely stay again!

Perfect Property for a Relaxing Finger Lakes Stay
This house is the perfect property to rest and rejuvenate in the Finger Lakes. The cabin was amazing (both location and the property) and the hosts were extremely thoughtful -- even setting out a delicious pie from a local bakery to welcome us! We would definitely come again. Side note: I had to work remotely on Friday, and the WIFI was indeed very fast (as listed). Thanks again!

Great place to stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Quiet Spot! The cabin is comfortable and very clean. The fire ring area and back patio table looked inviting, although we had rain the few days we were there. But, we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds chase each other around the the various bird feeders that were hung just outside the windows. We love the area and would stay here again.

Naples Cabin
My family and I enjoyed our time at the cabin. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The location was great, accessible to many attractions and restaurants and Mindy and Steve left several nearby places to checkout. It was very enjoyable watching the birds throughout the day. We did not walk explore five acres on the property as it wasn't very clear on where the property lines were. We found one small trail behind the cabin but didn't really go anywhere else.

This cabin is located a little out of town on a large, peaceful property. Loved the quietness and nature. The cabin itself was charming and comfortable for our family. It was stocked with everything we needed for a short stay. The property owners were fantastic with their communications both before and during our stay! Highly recommend staying here!!!

Quiet, secluded, wonderful place!
This our second time staying at this very quiet, secluded, marvelous place. We loved it both times and I can't say enough positive things about it. The owners are wonderful to coordinate with and provide everything you need. It's a very good location for the western side of the Finger Lakes including Keuka Lake. We drove to Watkins Glen, too, from there and it was very manageable. The town of Naples just down the hill from the house is very convenient and a handy place for groceries, restaurants, and the charming Naples Brewing Co. The property is beautiful with a large open space surrounded by tall pine trees. It's an incredibly quiet area. There's a nice fire pit circle with comfortable chairs. The owners were kind enough to supply some kindling and larger pieces of wood and even fire starter. A generous and very tasty gift greeted us as we entered. The house was so clean it gleamed. The modern, spacious kitchen in fully stocked. The bathroom is also large and the water pressure in the shower is very good. The beds are comfortable. The house is sparsely, but very tastefully decorated. The back patio is perfect for outdoor dining. Highly, highly recommended!!!

As nice as any B&B
This lovely cottage provides many of the amenities of a B&B minus the breakfast...vases of flowers in the room, fluffy towels, soft sheets and blankets, real half-and-half for your coffee, comfy furniture, and even a "welcome gift." It was so relaxing to sit on the front porch in the early morning, birds merrily chirping away. No traffic, lawnmowers, leaf blowers, weed trimmers. It was pure peacefulness that living out in the country should be, but sadly in many places, is not. As everyone has previously said, Mindy is happy to answer any of your questions and is a joy to talk to. There are so many things to do and Mindy provides several pages of suggestions. We had a delightful four days here and wish we had stayed longer. If you like to hike, Cumming Nature Center is nature at its best. But you can be just as happy doing nothing but watching the wildlife parading through the property at any given time. We have stayed at countless bed and breakfasts and "A Quiet Spot" gives them a run for their money!

60th Celebration
We had such a wonderful time at The Quiet Spot. Our hosts were fabulous, friendly and available when needed. They made sure we had firewood for our bonfires, and the home had so many little items we tend to forget. We were greeted with a welcome from our hosts written on the window, wishing us a happy 60th celebration. Everyone in the group, and a few day visitors agreed the place was absolutely charming. We'll definitely return!

Mindy, The Welcoming Host
Mindy was completely gracious, welcoming, informative, and (when unexpected illness arose during our stay) generously accommodating. Truly one of the outstanding VRBO hosts we have worked with! The woods area in which the quaint cabin is housed, teems with wildlife which entertains all day long. If you are looking for a cabin experience with an outstanding host, I highly recommend Mindy and this property.

This was a wonderful place to relax, read, and enjoy winter hiking and snowshoeing. A hardcore winter storm facilitated that! The owners' love of birds with art work, books and multiple feeders were an unexpected bonus.
