“Located just 25min from Lancaster and about 20min from Bird in Hand, this property is a dream. You get to wake up to the clopping of the horse drawn buggies and go to bed with the singing of the bugs! You are right in Amish county proper. The house is clean and very well maintained, the grounds are well kept and it fells like a home away from home. The host has thought of everything from dish soap to bath soap and shampoos. “The host did not disclose they live there and refused to vacate the property during our scheduled rental time. They had pets that was also undisclosed which would have caused concern for allergic guests. The contract was changed after signing to add additional fees. It is against vrbo policy for the owner to live on the premises. Thankfully vrbo was helpful and offered a refund but our event was displaced with no where to go within one hour of its start time. ”
