The property was not what was pictured on the rental site. No real driveway, yard not kept up, spiderwebs and wasp nest on the front porch. We were excited for the hot tub but realized soon after it was not usable and the water was dirty, which was a huge disappointment. The interior of the house probably was a beautiful property once upon a time, but it was not kept up with broken faucets, and fridge handle falling off. One of our main concerns was the cellar access door in the backyard was wide open to any person or animal to gain access to the basement. We had one door that was locked with just a key lock that lead to that basement, which did not make us feel secure. The house was also very musty smelling. Overall, I would not rent this property again unless it's been properly taken care of. I did reach out to SunnyDays management throughout our stay and in the end, they did apologize profusely and gave us back some compensation. It could be a very nice property so I really hope it's fixed up for the next renters.

Our stay was great! With that, the outside landscaping appears to need freshening up. Looked like the landscaper hadn't been there in a while. The backyard was the same. There was also trash in the bushes. Once inside the house, it was as shown online. The kitchen was beautiful and each bedroom was roomy and aesthetically pleasing. The couch in the main bedroom did have some stains, but appeared to be clean. The dinning room was large and beautiful. The living room was the same. The entire house needs gone through due to multiple bulbs flickering inside & out, with multiple bulbs not working outside. The hot tub and grill were very nice and the portable AC was nice in the one bedroom. Toilets in two of the bathrooms had a high pitch squeal that wouldn't stop. It was like the water was almost full, but wouldn't shut off. Luckily, we are handy and got both of them to stop and work properly. Just seamed like the owner/manager hadn't been there and went through a full check in a while. In the main bedroom bathroom, the shower door wasn't installed properly, so water leaked quite a bit. Nothing a few towels couldn't solve, but would bother me as an owner. On the first day, the fridge door handle was loose and then came off. It's just an allen bolt securing the handle, so you just need the right allen wrench. It took two emails to get a response and we never got a wrench. The property feels like it just needs to be tightened up. We had a great stay and the location is amazing!!!

The check-in process was so simple and straightforward, and the property manager was responsive and helpful. The pictures didn’t do the home justice, it’s even more beautiful in person, so we were thrilled! However, we were a little caught off guard at the air conditioning not being on at all when we arrived, and it was 89 degrees outside that day. When we first came in, the home was 81, and it took the entire day to cool it down because there are no ceiling fans or fans of any kind, and when we went to lunch that day and came back, the temperature had risen from what I had it set to. One of the girls in our group is pregnant, so the heat caused her some issues. The only other “complaint” I have is that the living room didn’t have enough seating to accommodate our party of 6, which isn’t the worst thing in the world but it was still enough of an inconvenience to notice. Overall, it was a wonderful stay in a PRIME location, and the home itself is gorgeous. You can tell that the owner has put a lot of love and work in to it, and I would happily rent this property again!

Not what I expected

The outside of the house looks like it hasn't had any attention the entire season. It "says" that it was cleaned by a certain person but it clearly has not had a deep clean in at least a decade. There was mold running rampant in one of the bathrooms and the smell permeated the entire house. When we arrived (at 5 pm), it was 81 degrees in the house (in July). WHY would someone have not been there to set the thermostat lower KNOWING that it takes 12 hours for it to cool down?! It was MISERABLE sleeping there the first night They sent over ONE air conditioning unit to cool down WHAT? Fortunately, I got to use it in MY bedroom but what about the other 6 people? Extremely disappointed considering the amount it cost to rent it! Also, the hot tub was disgustingly dirty and the yard was frighteningly overgrown. Overall, I was incredibly embarrassed to have been the one that found this for my group of girlfriends
Those cobwebs are on the INSIDE of that window because no one bothered to check if it was actually locked!

Good stay with great rooms

Overall great place to stay. Lawn was overgrown. AC took 12 hours to cool. Need extra seating in common area. Bedrooms excellent. Amenities were great. Great place for exploring city. Communication was excellent. Property manager responsive to issues.

Family wedding

Cute older home decorated with antique looking accessories throughout the house. Very clean. Close proximity to downtown and interstate. Walking distance to coffee and restaurants. Loved the king size beds in more than 1 room. Only thing no bedrooms have a tv. Only tv in living area. Grand daughter likes to watch tv at night before bed. Great place to stay!
