Country living at its best, chickens and a beautiful stocked pond to fish in

Beautiful home just minutes from downtown Springfield and 30 minutes from Nashville, TN. We have chickens. You can gather the eggs and have fresh eggs for breakfast or enjoy fishing in the beautiful, relaxing, stocked pond. Fishing poles are ready and waiting. 1000 MBPS 1 gig Wi-Fi. Two living rooms. A gorgeous sunroom, three bedrooms and two baths. The kitchen is fully stocked with a Keurig and coffee pot. We have a gas grill outside with a gazebo and a gas Burn Ring to enjoy smores.

This home was nice. Beautiful yard. We really enjoyed fishing, hanging with the chickens by the pond, laying on the comfy couches, & drinking the provided K Cups! We had a few minor issues. We were in town for a softball tournament from Illinois and were very busy so we didn't have time to contact the owner for all our questions or issues. The chicken eggs were an awesome perk, but we weren't sure how or when to get the eggs or if we should open or close the coupe. I would have felt better if that info was given to me. The Lightbulbs on the outside of home were burned out so we replaced them with some extras we found under the sink. It was difficult to get hot water to come out of the faucet in the kitchen. The hot and cold handles in the far shower were switched I think. We thought we ran out of hot water for the first few days, but realized the handles are switched. Lastly, there was only 1 paper towel roll, 1 toilet paper roll, & 1 garbage bag provided. I luckily packed extra because I overpack in all situations, but I was surprised to find only 1 of each item. Overall, it was a great experience. The view and vibe was wonderful and made up for the small minor issues we encountered, which are easily correctable issues. fyi - Before leaving for this trip, I ordered groceries from Walmart online and scheduled them for delivery at this house the next morning since I prefer not to grocery shop while on vacation!! It went smoothly as well!!

We spent time with our family for the long weekend. The house was great. There was lots of space for the kids to play inside and out! It was very clean inside and outside which was huge with young kids crawling around. We did not have enough time to fish, but appreciated the grass being cut for walks. We ate fresh eggs for breakfast both mornings which was a nice added perk and morning family adventure.We would definitely return if the opportunity arises.

Quick get together

Best house ever. We have rented several times from Debbie and you are missing out if you don't rent this place. It is peaceful with room to entertain, enjoy family. Bonus room with ac for crafts and game night.Try it and you will come back over and over again.

Amazing

From the time we pulled into the driveway and saw the place in person it was like a dream come true. The house was big enough for everyone without being on top of each other. The inside was amazing, fully stocked with dishes, extra linens if we needed, plenty of towels and rags, plenty of games to play, fishing was awesome, and of course can’t leave out the chickens it was fun letting them out in the morning and at least trying to put them up at night. Mrs. Debbie was the best host if I needed anything she was just a phone call away. Would recommend anyone that likes the country life and the quietness to choose this destination. It was so good we didn’t want to leave. Thanks for letting us stay.

Loved this Home

We loved staying here. House was clean and had everything we needed. My kids loved the pond and caught quite a few fish. We loved gathering the eggs from the chickens and we even cooked breakfast with what we had gathered. I liked that the house was quiet and away from the hustle of daily life. Close to town and the town has everything you need. We drove to Nashville daily for a cheer comp (takes around 40 minutes but the drive is very scenic) and even drove over to Louisville, KY for a day (drive was 2 1/2 hrs from house). We had never been to TN so I was pleasantly surprised by its beautiful landscape around this area. If we ever make our way back to TN we would gladly choose this place to stay again.

If you are staying with family this house is perfect. Our grandchildren loved seeing the chickens every day and gathering eggs. We fished everyday. Close to town to get anything you need but a quiet peaceful place. We would definitely stay agai.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Country scene but not far from town. Beautiful view out back and plenty of space inside. I would definitely recommend this place to others and will book again when in the area.

Visit with our son on leave from Fort Campbell KY

This home met all of our needs. Felt like visiting with an older relative - the style and decor are very traditional and everything was in excellent condition. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our time at the property. It is convenient to Wal Mart and all sorts of fast food and other restaurants (lot of Mexican restaurants).We did fish in the pond and had success catching several small mouth bass (that we released).The chickens are free range so there is chicken poop around but we have chickens at home so that wasn't an issue for us.Our stay was pleasant and we got to spend quality time with our soldier. Next trip we may try to get a little closer to base though - it took him about 40 minutes to drive to us that first night.The driveway has two places that you can turn in and both look a little steep but once you turn in they are not as steep as they look from the road.We would return to this property in the future if we ever needed a place to stay close to Nashville.

We had a very good time at this property! The house was very clean and in nice shape. We all had fun fishing in the pond. We had fresh eggs every day from the chickens. The house is so close to Springfield you can run and grab anything you need.

Perfect Place For A Family Getaway

A perfect place for a quiet getaway with the family. Conveniently located close to town and big city locations of Nashville and Clarksville, yet remote enough for quiet relaxation. Wide open area for grandchildren to run and play. The house itself is very nice, clean, well maintained, and the host is wonderful to work with. Will definitely stay again and high recommend.
