Property was great but when i got here they wanted to charge me an extra $75 for mydog. I prepaid and that fee wasn't in the expedia costs. I feel it should have been there upfront.

They were doing construction on the property. I didn’t find out till check-in. The hammering you could hear at 8 o’clock in the morning on Saturday and Sunday was a little bit annoying.. i’ve been to other Hyatt places and the breakfast here was not very good at all.

Hotel is in the middle of construction - would have been nice to know this prior to booking. When we went to check in at 9:30/10pm there was no one at the front desk & with all the construction in the lobby/hall - it was not a good impression. Thankfully we were only staying one night because we were informed construction noises would start at 8am. Breakfast is served in the middle of the construction area - not very appetizing. Overall - not a great stay - I do a lot of research/read reviews & star ratings before I book hotels - this one was disappointing.

Get-a-way
My wife and I had a great time in the Nashville/Hendersonville area. Located within a short distance of a lot of great restaurants, but far enough from the city so that you don't have to deal with the all of the issues. The hotel is under renovations which is why I rated the conditions as a 4, but everything else was great.

We stay at the Hyatt every time we come to Nashville to see our daughter, it's always a great stay. This was an okay stay. I totally understand they are under construction. Buuut. We stayed in a room that was supposedly just remodeled and my main concern was why were the shower door knob handles still in terrible disrepair? I could tell the carpet was redone, the shower was recalled but the knobs and shower head were both disgusting. Stay was still great just hope they look into that.

Hotel is under construction for a remodel. I wasn’t aware of this until after check-in. Very noisy from 8-5pm and water was shut off for 4 hours one day. We were notified that morning that water would be off. Shower took at least 10 minutes to warm up each evening and morning. On the plus side, safe neighborhood, decent location. Breakfast was very good and staff were very helpful and friendly.

My boyfriend is an OTR truck driver and was in for 24 hours. The plan was to catch up on sleep somewhere close to my job. I didn’t get checked in until late, because we did not get off when we planned. Well, that did not go as planned unfortunately. They are doing construction so about 8 the noise started…LOUD! So there was no sleeping in before he had to head out for a 48 hour road trip with no sleep.

Our room was dirty. It smelled dirty, the carpet was dirty, the couch had stains on it. The staff did not truly make me feel welcome at check in. The food staff was not friendly. I went to the front desk to buy a water and the woman behind it seemed to be engrossed in a conversation with friends who showed up and walked off with them. I got the water and just left with it because she never came back. The property was also under renovation while we were there. Had we known that before we booked, we wouldn't have stayed there. Noises from the crew above us at 8am on a Sunday morning. Never again will I stay here.

Good nights sleep!
The overall experience was good, upon check in the desk clerk that they were doing renovations and apologized for any inconvenience and noise. The workers kept the noise to a minimum and finished for the day at a reasonable time.

Nice place, but a bit noisy during the day due to construction/re-modeling. They had us in the wrong room at check-in. we booked a king bed, they said Expedia booked a room with double beds. I had all my paperwork and confirmation for the king bed. They changed it even though they said Expedia was at fault.
