Perfect Stay for Nashville Visit
Like the listing says, the property is ideally situated to visit Nashville without being downtown in the hustle and bustle. It took us only about 15 minutes to get into town daily. The owner was super nice and friendly, and the house for our purposes perfectly.

Hillbilly (Porch & Hammock) Haven
It was the perfect place for my brothers to spend a few days for our little reunion. I live nearby, so that convenience made our time together easier. A future place for similar guests who come into town. Bring your own charcoals and be prepared to cook on a stovetop where the coil burners are not level. A small hitch in our stay, esp. since everything else was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Definitely use Hillbilly Haven in the future.

A great retreat
We were in town for a conference at the Bridgestone Arena. We spent all day downtown, but the Hillbilly Hideaway was a great spot to return to at the end of our long days. The beds were comfy, and the set-up worked great for our needs. My friend and I both brought our teen daughters, so we were each able to take one side of the house to use for our needs. Communication with the owner was easy, and he responded quickly to email communication.

Beautiful property if you're looking to get away from downtown Nashville
Beautiful cozy little place. We loved the charm. Location isn't convenient if you're looking to go downtown Nashville a lot. It had everything we needed. It was nice to have a washer and dryer. I also liked that there were two bedrooms that had their own bathroom since we shared this place with another couple. We enjoyed our evenings kicked back on the front porch. There is a lot of road noise so if you are looking somewhere quiet this isn't the place, but you are secluded by trees. It's really close to this really neat bar restaurant/hardware store. There's also beautiful hiking trails nearby. The owner stopped by while we were relaxing on the porch to check on us and was really nice. I definitely wish we could have spent longer here!

The owner was great House and location was awesome Stevens reality dropped the ball several times. Charged us deposit twice. We didn’t have code to get in. Just so happens the front door was unlocked. Owner didn’t know we were coming. Stevens reality needs to pay more attention

Just what we needed
We stayed three nights and found the house exactly as described/pictured, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located just outside the city. It was priced well and stocked with many essentials. The three rooms with beds gave us all our own space making it very comfortable for three people. The beds in the two bedrooms were amazing!!! So very comfortable. The owner was gracious enough to provide us information on the mattresses as we loved them so much and planned to shop for one of our own. Communication was perfect with one check-in email a day to ensure we had all we needed. The road noise is real but it didn't bother us necessarily. We still enjoyed morning coffee on the porch. I'd stay again if ever in the area. Thanks for the enjoyable experience and hospitality!

My family and 2 dogs stayed at the Hillbilly Haven and we had a great time! Loved the big porch, the beautiful flowers and patio area. House was well supplied - the only problem we had was 6 of us eating- small kitchen area. Would love to go back in the future.

Great Place!
The house was clean, comfortable and well kept. It didn't feel super private since the homeowner was staying on-site by the house although we didn't see him except at check-in so it wasn't a big deal. There is a lot of traffic noise since it's a busy highway, but, that also wasn't a deal breaker. The house and property itself were nice and we would definitely recommend it!

We had a relaxing stay.
It was a nice stay for us, very relaxing. The house was well stocked w/ things you would need & the beds were super comfortable; ours was nice & firm. The only drawback for me was the road noise when we were outside on the wonderful porch or sitting around the firepit. It wasn't as bad at night. We would stay again.

4 Days in Nashville
We were very happy with our stay at Hillbilly Haven. It was very clean, beds were comfortable, all appliances worked well, it was well stocked with basics so we did not have to buy much small items, left what we did buy. It was within 20ish minutes of everything we did except Mammoth Caves. Host was very responsive, would stay there again.

we enjoyed the host. A very nice helpful person.
the road the house was on was very busy. The lights were inadequate in the bedrooms-especially the small one. The host had stocked the house with everything we needed other than our food. The house is old and shows its age. But overall we enjoyed our stay and really liked the host.

Great for a quick trip to Nashville
This property worked out great for a trip involving our dogs and to attend a concert in Nashville. For others, the nearby Beaman park was a great place to hike with our pups.

Great location
This property is in a great location. A short Uber to Broadway or Grand Ole Opery. Everything we needed was provided and was in good condition. The second bedroom is pretty small but we made do. The wall hangings and shelves could you a little dusting and the TV is in the small living area so we were not all able to sit down to watch it at the same time. It would have been nice if it was in the larger living room. The porch was really nice and a great place to sit and relax

PROPERTY WAS NOT LIKE PICTURES - TOWELS SMELLED; HAD AN HORRIFIC TIME GETTING THE COMBO TO GET IN -- HORRIBLE AND LANDLORD WAS THERE ALL THE TIME MAYBE READY TO GET IN THE HOUSE WHILE WE WERE GONE.... WE WILLNEVER RENT A HOUSE AGAIN..... IT WILL BE A CONDO NEXT TIME. FOUR WOMEN IN THE HOUSE AND THIS GUY IS WALKING AROUND OUTSIDE ETC. --- OH MY GOSH - VERY VERY UNCOMFORTABLE... OLD OLD HOUSE ALSO AND PLEASE DON'T LET KIDS GET IN THERE AS THEY WOULD PROBABLY GET HURT ON ALL THE CORDS EVERYWHERE..... TU!!

Hillbilly House
A great quirky house in a nice quiet spot. $20 Lyft from Downtown but ample space to park a few cars if you’re driving. The property had everything that we needed and the owner lives very close but Stevens Realty the management company (despite being asked several times) refused to give a 24 hour contact number - it’s just email 7:30am - 10pm so if you have a flood, power cut, the door code stops working outside these hours etc… you will be stuck until they can be bothered to respond to an email. Fabulous property, great & friendly owner but I won’t use it again unless I have a 24 hour emergency contact number.

It was nice. A little older than I thought it would be. Had a musty smell. Probably old carpet and around sink in kitchen a very strong musty smell. All in all close enough to hospital for what we needed.

The property was great - but the batteries in the smoke detectors were failing and kept beeping. It took a day and a half for the property manager to resolve the issue. This was NOT acceptable.

Hillbilly House in Nashville
The hillbilly house was very quaint. Not as far off the road as the picture would indicate. We liked the location as we were out of the city but could be there within about 12 minutes. It was clean and comfortable and very close to amenities like dollar general, Kroger, and liquor store.

Way above and beyond, stayed here for Christmas celebration with family from Nashville. We traveled from Florida and this stay was absolutely amazing, the owner even had Christmas tree and decorations up, made all the difference to my wife, completely happy with the rental, but the fees ! Stevens’s reality is managing property and I wish all fees and costs were up front, it took 4 different times to run card and pay then the deposits are separate and they ran card again without permission for another deposit???? Just give me all costs upfront and process once, that would be so much easier

Nashville getaway
We really enjoyed the days we stayed in the property. There are a few things that could be changed like putting a chest of drawer in the second bedroom. We suggest changing the second bedroom over to the den and cut door to the hall tothe2nd bathroom. But all and all was great.
