The Riverside Retreat

Beautiful & secluded. Take in the gorgeous river views while soaking in your private hot tub; gathering around a bonfire on the water's edge; stretching out on the oversized leather couch streaming your favorite show-all with your loved ones by your side-including the furry ones!

This home is the perfect blend of lovely wooded seclusion and only minutes to the Historic Lebanon Square which boasts a local coffee shop, a bookstore, local eateries, guitar store (with new & used vinyl), micro-brewery, mid-century furniture store, veterans museum (with FREE entry) and the cutest boutiques! Outdoor activities abound with a boat/kayak put in ramp 2 mins away and Cedars of Lebanon State Park only 20 mins south.

If you want the nightlife of Nashville this quiet and secluded home is only 45 mins east of Nashville; just an easy shot down I-40 to get to Music City proper. You could always take the Music City Star train downtown with the station only 12 mins away!

This welcoming space is thoughtfully curated with quality and comfort in mind. This home has all the high end touches for you to enjoy your stay without any of the pretense. Perfect stargazing nights with little light pollution and the relaxing sound of wildlife and nearby farm animals. This is a country locale so some of the local kitties may pay you a friendly visit to welcome you to "the sticks." You will hear a pup bark (or coyote across the river howl!) and a rooster crow as the pleasant backdrop of rural life.

The host was wonderful. She responded quickly every time I sent her a message. The place is beautiful and well kept. I rented the house for more people than stayed there because I thought my granddaughters might like to stay. However, they were involved in their projects (they acted in Marshmellow productions of 101 Dalmatians and It’s a Wonderful Life). The bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. Loved our time there.

The property was beautiful !!! We were on our 35th wedding anniversary trip…. Loved staying here! Cozy living room, comfy bed, clean kitchen! Hot tub was great with nice view of the river! Very relaxing as well after a long day of sights and activities. Rebecca was sooooo nice and very attentive to our needs. Communication was excellent. Questions were answered very quickly. I wish I could give a 10 star review!The “shop” was cute and great for kids at heart! I highly recommend this retreat and if I’m in the area again, will definitely come back ! This riverfront retreat was the perfect getaway for our group of ladies to relax and get away from the chaos and the drama of a wedding. We talked drank wine and enjoyed just being together in this beautiful comfortable space. The host provided all the basic items that we needed, and even the kitchen had all the basics we needed. The beds are very comfortable. We will definitely stay again if it is available when we visit.

We had a little trouble getting into the house when we first arrived, but the hostess,Rebecca was a doll and helped us out immediately. Checked on us throughout our stay.... customer service goes a long way in my book and she was gracious and so helpful. The house is adorable and cute and clean. The treats were an added bonus.

Outstanding

Very pleasant stay. The view is great, the decor is updated and nice. Hot tub was perfect. Fire pit was nice to relax by. Very clean. All 10's....Only thing I would recommend is to provide a bit more kitchen items. Cooked for 5 adults and needed sharp knives and were a little short on decent knives. Not a deal breaker and if we choose to visit again, will book here again.

Baseball trip

Our oldest son was playing high school baseball down here for spring break. We came down to watch with our other kids. We had a great stay! The beds were very comfortable. House was clean and had everything that we needed! We really enjoyed sitting on the back deck and looking at the water and using the hot tub. We took the kids to a couple of the spots that were recommended for fishing and kayaking! If we needed something the host was quick to respond. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here!

Excellent home

We enjoyed the home and the view of the river. Close to the town of Lebanon with the feel of the country, this very clean home offers very relaxed and spacious living quarters with a game room for the kids. We enjoyed s’mores over the open fire in the backyard fire pit. The owner checked in on us without being intrusive. We had cookies and a snack basket upon arrival. Great place, great price. Bonus - our dogs were welcomed too!

Convenient locale with feel of country

We loved the country feel of the location and view of the river, but we’re only 5-15 minutes from stores and restaurants. We were using the home to celebrate the holidays with our adult sons. The home is set up very nicely for visiting inside and outside on the deck or the fire pit in the evening. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it was available, owner replied immediately to our questions and corrected 2 problems very quickly during our stay. We appreciated the cookies, dog treats and Christmas decorations to help use celebrate the holidays. Thanks for a great place to visit and relax!

Quiet, comfortable and scenic!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riverside Retreat! Beautiful open great room/kitchen with master bedroom on one side and two additional bedrooms on opposite side. Wonderful welcome basket for people and pups! Spent a lot of time in the hot tub enjoying the scenic river views. You get a home in the country but close enough to quaint shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO home! The place was spotlessly clean and offered breathtaking views that made every morning a delight. The game room was a fantastic addition, providing hours of fun for our group.
