The room was filthy, especially in the bathroom around the edges of the room. The bed still had a bandage stuck to the top sheet under the comforter. That tells me the bed was not stripped and remade with clean sheets. This was not discovered until after we slept in it. There was not a blow dryer which is standard at all hotel chains.

This property has trash and cigarette butts all over the place. The room is disgusting, don’t know how many people stay before they really clean it. I didn’t even stay the night, left the key card in the room, and got a room at the Holiday Inn instead. Didn’t even bother asking for a refund.

This property was the most unpleasant & unsafe property, that I have ever seen in my life! Before I had a chance to put all my essentials in the room, I was setting in my pickup & backed into my parking space in front of my room, Rm. 109. When I turned my engine off, the smoke alarm’s for the property went off. I saw the manager run from the adjacent room’s across the way, back to Office site room’s. I called out to him, & I asked what was the emergency? He said everything was alright, & expressed my thoughts that not everything was alright, there were alarm’s going off. He then told me that there was a Hispanic woman in the room just above my room, cooking food in her room. I asked him if he told her to stop the cooking or leave? He said he told her to just leave the door open. So, I brought out what belongings that I had put in my room, & put them back in my pickup. I was asked what I was doing? I then told the manager that I would be right over to the office. When I got to the office, he asked if I was going to leave, & I told him that I couldn’t stay in a hotel were the manager allowed tenant’s to cook in their room’s ! I told him he could keep my payment for the room, or if he felt obliged, he could reimburse me later, but I am leaving & that I would never set foot on the premises again in the future ! As I was pulling out from the hotel, a fire engine was just pulling into the parking area & I continued my retreat ! Charles A. Hamill

Would not recommend. Stains on sheets. Stains on towels. Mold on the shower curtain. Patches missing from the ceiling. Overall cleanliness was absolutely awful.

Nasty run!!!!

So gross. Tv wouldn’t work the whole four days used our pad. The breakfast was muffins that expired 6 months ago. The juice machine had crap hanging out it, coffee was cold no breakfast at all, no juice and no coffee. Coffee pots were taken out of all rooms in a closet that is always open. The whole family lives there. They take up at least 10 rooms. Very rude. The man acted like everyone was stupid when anyone complained. This place needs to be condemned. I am from natchitoches and i am going to make a few calls.

I thought Windom was a great company with better hotels, but I was wrong. This Best Western was very tired and run down. Our smoke free room stunk of smoke and had burn marks here and there. It was filthy, my wife scrubbed the floors and furniture. Then in the evening a mouse came visiting. Upon checking out I told the manager that the room was filthy, he just gave a thumbs up and smiled. Maybe no English??

Shower curtain dirty…stained bed comforter…crickets…rusted paper holder…missing floor molding A/C not working properly…not enough space for hanging clothes…not enough towels and wash cloths… beds were not comfortable Breakfast was almost non existent…low on coffee…no regular crème…only offered frozen muffins Sunday morning laundry room with ice machine locked… front desk not attended all the time and no bell 🛎️ available Danny the desk attendant did help me with obtaining a downstairs room…this was the only plus for this hotel! I have never stayed in a hotel room this deplorable!!!

This is the worse place I’ve EVER stayed. I was double charged, gut at front desk was rude and mean. I paid TWICE for a room I booked weeks ago, I booked king size bed they gave it away. The bathroom was filthy, the door was hanging on by a screw

(+) A/C, TV, refrig and microwave all worked; the bed was clean and comfortable (-) At checkin (#1) the desk did not accept my statement that my reservation was prepaid; (#2) I produced a payment receipt and the desk ignored and wanted payment; (#3) I detailed the reservation number, my credit card payment statement and the amount paid. Finally the desk was able to input my data correctly and the payment registered. Their room was dilapidated – entrance door broken; shower hand support broken; toilet seat broken. Old dirt was evident in every corner of the room and table tops. So, if you want an overpricd, 2* (max) motel this is the place.

Came home for a funeral.

There were stains in the sheets. The toilet was nasty on the outside and inside roaches crawling in the bathtub TV not working remote not working nobody at the front desk. Tonight day I need a refund it’s not worth it. Go anywhere but they’re closed that hotel down please. Thank you.

This is the worst room I have ever stayed! I had my wife and daughter with me and I was embarrased! The room smelled horrible; the bed wasnt totally clean and neither was the shower. I will NEVER stay at this place again!

Rooms were dingy and dirty. The bathrooms were terrible, the toilets were extremely dirty and the bottoms didn’t look like they had been wiped in years - like literally- , the ceiling above the shower had mold and water damage , the tub didn’t drain properly so as you finished showering (if you were quick) you ended in ankle deep water . To top it all off - the morning we are leaving checkout is at 11 am and it’s 10 am , I’m in the room getting the kids dressed and packed up and there’s a knock at the door . I immediately go to the door and before I can make it there the man from the front desk pushes the door open . I catch the door with the palm of my hand to stop it from opening all the way because I have kids getting dressed and he tells me checkout is at 11am ….uh yeah I know….mind you the extra lock thing was flipped on the inside , however , he was still able to push the door open with no avail . I come to town often to visit my daughter who lives on campus and I will never return to this hotel. Beware of the bargain price you will regret it !

Prepaid booking didnt come through to their computers for 4 hours. Charged me $35 to check in at 12pm vs. 2pm after sitting in their lobby for almost 4 hours waiting for booking to show up. Trash all over the property (broken trash bags). No breakfast as advertised. Card locks on door didnt work. Overall bad experience. I would not stay here again. Would not recommend to anyone. Definitely not worth $80 a night.

They need more work

The tub wasn’t clean the toilet wasn’t cleaned. The cover had spots on it. There was no type of breakfast service. There was no WiFi and if it was the front desk didn’t let me know.
