“The hotel was everything that we expected. There were few facilities but we didn’t expect any. Staff helpful and friendly. Room comfortable and well appointed. Area around the hotel felt safe . There were restaurants , takeaways and shops nearby so good location but no attractions to walk to that we could find. Round the corner from a busy hospital so some noise but plenty of tuk tuks”

“i stayed at Woodlands Inn for 6 days on a 11 day trip to India, primarily to watch some IPL cricket and do a bit of sightseeing. The Woodlands Inn was the best place for me to stay with wanting to do these things. The staff are pleasant and my room was small but clean and the water was hot. A nice tea/samosa/cookie, Sri Sabari Tea Stall, and snack store across the road and a good restaurant around the corner called Anjappar. “Generally dreadful. Room small and not in good condition. View was of wall approx 30cm away so no natural light (fun if you have jetlag). I couldn't get the kettle to work. Uninspiring breakfast in very loud room. Area outside the hotel is not the cleanest. ”
