“Loved the history of this hotel and the ambience. The rooms were extremely clean and they paid attention to detail and even provided fresh baked cookies on the bed and a little guest bag of forgotten items. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there are several restaurants a few doors down in either direction to grab food. There is a speak easy bar on the 2nd floor if you need to see "the doctor". “We came in for the Brazos Valley Horse Auction. Needed a place to stay for the weekend that was close to sale barn. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and very refreshing after being outside all day!”
