I booked a room for my friend and I in January 2026 for August 2026, the day before the date which we were supposed to check in I had a phone call stating they couldn’t accommodate us which caused a lot of hassle due to us having a festival booked for the weekend and this was our place to stay. Would not recommend very unreliable, I asked if there was any other options to accommodate us and the man on the phone was extremely unhelpful. They stated it was a “maintenance issue” which I gaurantee would’ve been a load of 💩 due to them realising it was the weekend of the festival so prices would increase and would’ve offered more money for the room than what we paid.

Great location and a very short walk into Alderley Edge village. We arrived about 2.15 and were told that our rooms weren’t ready (check in is 3pm) which was fine. Later on we noticed how few guests there were in the hotel so wondered why there was an issue with the rooms not being ready. The first receptionist wasn’t particularly apologetic, but when we returned we were greeted in a much better manner by another member of reception staff. Rooms are nice. Breakfast staff were quite abrupt but overall a nice stay and location was the winning factor.
