  • Welcome to your peaceful escape 'Island Dream' a direct riverfront location on the Nehalem River—where wide-open views, cozy comfort, and unforgettable moments come together. This beautifully updated home sits right on the river and features a private dock, giving you direct access to the water for kayaking, fishing, or simply soaking in the serene surroundings.



    From the moment you step inside, you’ll be drawn to the expansive wall of windows framing the river and surrounding landscape. The open-concept living space is warm and inviting, with vaulted ceilings, comfortable seating, and a brick fireplace that creates the perfect place to unwind after a day outdoors.



    The adjacent dining area and fully stocked kitchen make it easy to gather, cook, and connect. With updated appliances, generous counter space, and everything you need to prepare meals, you’ll feel right at home.



    Step outside onto the deck and take in the peaceful riverfront setting. Watch wildlife, enjoy your morning coffee, or head down to your private dock for a closer connection to the water. Don't be surprised when you hear the sounds of a great horned owl as well as various pack of coyotes throughout the region. There is no question, this is such a special place to stay and enjoy.



    We’re excited to host you and hope your stay is full of fun and great memories. To keep things peaceful for our wonderful neighbors, we observe quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. During this time, please stay indoors with windows and doors closed, and keep noise at a comfortable indoor level. The home includes a noise‑monitoring system that measures volume only—it simply helps us ensure the neighborhood stays calm and enjoyable for everyone. Thanks for helping us keep this a welcoming place for all guests.



    PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

Whether you love being indoors or outdoors this house fits the bill!

My family and I frequently travel and stay at rental properties often and this home is such a gem! __First of all the property management is on their game. They were in contact with us leading up to the trip as well as a few check-in’s during our stay. If we needed anything we know exactly who to call. Christi at Live Simply is competent and the company is organized! __The home has a fun Oregon Coast vibe. It’s stocked with all the essentials and so many extras. We spent time everyday on the private dock, playing around on the river in the canoe, kayak and SUP. We also drove 5 minutes out to Nahalem State Park and walked the trails and went to the beach. __The beds stood out for all of us as exceptionally comfortable, this has almost never been my experience at a short-term rental! __There are so many thoughtful extras around the house and property, board games, books and even a mini arcade room. So fun!__We had an amazing experience here and will definitely book this house again on our next visit!
